Legit controller my son loves it way better than the Walmart ones

Excitedly ordered this controller for my wife as one of hers just died and she was interested in gyro, but failed to notice that this was a refurbished controller. No bigs, there’s been plenty of times where I’ve purchased something used and it was still more than in working condition. When it arrived, it was in a USPS mailer envelope with a white usb-c cord, and nothing else. Also no bigs- we can google whatever we need to know for setup etc. My wife noticed it was kind of grody looking, which we also tried to ignore because if it works, it’s super easy to clean/sterilize a controller. But it didn’t work. The usb-c port on the controller was wiggly as hell which meant it kept disconnecting while plugged into her pc ((how she would primarily be using this controller)). After a quick googling we find that this is a common issue with these controllers, so we figured it would be safer to return this, eat the return charge, and purchase one from a local store so returns would be easier.This controller should NOT have been shipped out, but it seems either it slipped through inspection or wasn’t inspected for issues at all, so heads up.

Works good but too pricey for it being used

At first a faulty replacement came in and I tried to stick with it but reached outto get a replacement. I received a much better renewal in a short notice and it was easy to contact and deal with the supplier. Good customer service is always a win in my book.

It may be refurbished, but I haven't noticed any issues yet. It arrived clean, no drift or sticky buttons, and the battery seems fine and likewise with the charging port.Worth the 5$/10$ off by getting refurbished if you don't plan to use it as much, like me. But even although I notice no issues yet, if you know you'll use the controller often, I'd recommend getting a brand new one just in case.

Importantly, the controller seems to be undamaged. So, everything’s fine.That said, the packaging was minimal. A cardboard box and a thin styrofoam-type sheet wrapped around the controller. That’s it.I’ll concede that this is probably solid for the environment. However, I do worry about ensuring that the sticks don’t get damaged or bent in transit. In this case, all seems good. Still, I would hesitate to order from this seller again because of the packaging.
