Works well
I am extremely happy with this product. At first I was skeptical of the price but worth every penny.I am a runner. Years ago I severely sprained my right ankle (grade 3- essentially tore all ligaments), leading to more or less permanent instability. I recovered to a degree PT did not help much and due to my younger age (32) I am not a candidate for surgery. It got to a point where I could no longer run due to constant interstitial and proximal tears of various ligaments in my ankle were exacerbated by the instability. This lead to weight gain. This thing has provided me with enough support to where I can run without pain. Dont think I’ll ever run a marathon or run sub 8min/mile ever again but Im honestly surprised and happy.

Great support
Much better than the lace up ones. More comfortable for sure. Seems like it will hold up. Broke my ankle in 3 places 7 months ago and will need support for a while.

Not a lot of support
Using this for soccer with a history of ankle rolls /sprains, I think get more support from taping than using this brace. However it might be fine for a lighter injury or if you want just a little bit of support. I like it better than the neoprene-material braces that just have a strap around the top and over the foot.

Worth the Money - MOST COMFORTABLE BRACE!
I don't tend to bother with reviews, but I wanted to encourage anyone looking at this product, it's worth the price, just buy it. I've only had it for a couple weeks now but I've already noticed an improvement in my ankle, and I can wear this brace 24 hrs straight without any chaffing, irritation, or discomfort.I sprained my ankle about 2 months ago, and am back on my feet standing 8-12 hours for security work. This fits under my socks, in my tennis shoes, keeps me feeling supported, and I can handle cement floors or mountain hikes without constantly worrying if my ankle will buckle.Good quality product. I'm considering buying one for my left ankle just for the support during hiking. It's that comfy! My ankle measured exactly 9" and I got the medium size. I'd recommend the snug fit, as it seems to aid in compression.

Expensive second hand sock
I bought some similar generic compression sock/band and thought this would be better. Shelled out dollars and received used compression sock. Nothing more, nothing less. I do not want to heal my injured foot with some used dirty expensive piece. Well, I did try it on to see what the whole big deal is about. It is very over nothing, people. Buy simple compression sock and it will be millions times better!!!

the BEST.
Recommend! We had this brace suggested for our daughter after she had a ankle sports injury. This brace helped immensely. Following another sports injury this fall we bought a second one for her other ankle. The support is perfect but there is flexibility as well.

Uncomfortable
I really tried with these things because my dr recommended them for an acute sprain and I honestly think they’ve made my recovery longer. After a month I don’t feel much better and I tried the small and medium and both are SO TIGHT around the circumference of the ankle it cuts off circulation. The small was supposed to fit because of my measurements but the strap is WAY too small on it and barely wraps around. The medium strap is longer but the compression wasn’t snug at top and button but of course was crazy tight at the ankle. Also, both sizes have padding hit at the same spot under the feet which is very uncomfortable. I was also told to ice every hour…. And after icing and putting it on I would struggle to get my feet warm again for hours and then would take it off so I could get blood flow but still my foot never seemed to become a normal or warm temperature and then it just got hot I think from freaking out from this thing. I am finally giving up after a month, I know I should’ve stopped sooner but I thought that this was supposed to help and maybe it was just a phase? Eventually my joint got really sore on the side of my injury and again I thought maybe I was doing something wrong or not resting enough, but I was like in bed all the time, but I think it’s from the extreme pressure of this thing. I was told to wear this thing all day but my foot couldn’t take it and then I never got the “support” I needed because I always wanted to take it off in bed. Now I think I’ve screwed up my circulation in my foot and I’m going to try the basic ass $15 one form now on that already feels better. My foot actually got circulation in it and my toes didn’t feel like ice.

the only thing I don't like about it
This is OK for my foot, the only thing I don't like about it, is the strap that goes under the foot kinda hurts. It can get uncomfortable. It doesn't support the ankle they way I thought it would.
