These are a good replacement for original Ryobi batteries, at a fraction of the price. They are the size of Ryobi 4ah batteries, but claim 6.5ah. Not sure if that is true, but they do seem to run at least as long as the Ryobi 4ah, again, at a much lower cost. They seem to hold up in longevity, about as long as Ryobi batteries, once again, at considerably lower cost. Excellent value.

I bought a new Ryobi leaf blower which came with a battery. My yard is a little bigger and needed more than one battery to complete my yard without having to charge the battery. I bought this to be able to just switch out batteries when the first one depleted. I now can finish my yard without having to wait for the battery to charge. The battery lasted about 30 minutes and easily attached to my snow blower and the charger without any issues. This battery is a great solution if you need a new battery or an additional one to supplement what you have. The great thing is that it is so much cheaper than the brand name.

This barely fits in our Ryobi 14 inch chainsaw. Otherwise, no fit problems in any of our other Ryobi products. It does seem to lose power over the discharge cycle unlike the OEM batteries. The battery lasts a long time, but I had to cut smaller and smaller logs over time. It lasted longer than any OEM battery that fits in the chainsaw, but after 90 minutes of cutting up fallen trees it struggles with 6-8 inch limbs despite displaying 50% charge.

Complete junk. I ordered one in May 2023 and used it through the season (about 4 months). It was on charge until about November when I did a final trim. It was put back on charge until March 2025 andWhen I went to use it the battery was completely dead. I called Amazon because it had a one year warranty. Since it a battery Amazon asked if they could discount my Prime subscription rather than shipping it back if I ordered a new battery. I purchased the same battery and again this year it is completely dead. Do not buy this junk, and don’t let Amazon discount your subscription because they didn’t do it and charged me the full rate. I had to call Amazon to get a refund.

Nice battery. Has a little light meter on the side for capacity. It is a little 'older' looking than the current Ryobis, but it is compatible with MOST Ryobi lawn equipment.I say most because it is a bit chunky, and depending on the tool it might be a little more challenging to click it into place.That being said, It works with the power, Leaf Blower, and Weedeater just fine. Little tighter on the weed eater, and a firm push is needed on the Leaf Blower, but it works and feels as strong as it is with the OEM Ryobi batteries. Id' say capacity-wise its pretty close to advertised. It has 2.5 More Ah than the largest Ryobi I have. Usually, 1 battery and some change is needed for my backyard. This battery lasted the whole yard on its own and still had enough charge to weed eat a little afterwards.So overall, good for price. little heavy, little chunky. Close to same aesthetic (same colors). If you're trying to save some $$ here, this is a good option. Excellent alternative.

This review is for a 40V battery for Ryobi equipment. This fit the Ryobi OEM charger and my Ryobi Expand-It base easily. It was a tight fit with the Ryobi Leaf Blower but did go in. Night and day when I attached the Edger vs. on the old battery. All pieces of equipment worked very well and for a longer period of time than the 5 year old OEM battery (the older battery shouldn't be expected to hold the same charge as it had when originally purchased). For a third of the price of a new OEM battery, I'm very satisfied with this product.

A tad large for some tools. Have to take a rubber mallet to remove from string trimmer. Battery life isn't as long as compared to a new Ryobi battery of same size

I just received this battery today, charged it to full on my Official Ryobi OP406AVNM charger then put it in my pawn shop find Ryobi 40V lawnmower mod# RY40108 that came with no battery, charger or start key so I was taking a chance and spent the $50 so to Amazon I went and bought the charger, the start key and this is the 2nd battery I bought, the 1st one was junk and is on it's way back to Amazon for refund. Just mowed for the 1st time with the mower and made it all the way thru my small yard with 1 battery light left. We are renting a mobile home just to give you an idea the size of my yard. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ANTRobut 40V 6.5Ah Battery Replacement for Ryobi 40V. I can't speak to longevity but so far so good and very happy saving $200 over an official Ryobi 6.5Ah battery. Will update review if needed on longevity or any issues that come up.
