SintechPCI-E 4X to USB 3.0 Adapter,PCI Express Type C Gen 2 Expansion Card with Asmedia Chipset ASM3142

I added this card to an ASUS Prime Z390-A motherboard, and it's working as intended. I upgraded the Asmedia chipset to a newer firmware version which added support to newer CPU.

Purchased 2x of these to connect to my 5x mediasonic 4 bay enclosures. Both cards recognized all the HDDs on Windows 10 on ASRock Phantom Gaming 6 and 7 motherboards. The card uses the ASM3142 chipset and shows up as 3.1 xHCI in device manager properly which is the newest chipset for USB 3.1 Gen 2 from ASMedia without having to install any drivers.Depending on the drive being accessed (5400 vs 7200 Rpm) I'm getting anywhere from 125MBs to 175MBs which is really impressive for non-SSD drives.So far I'm very happy with the price, quality and ease of installation. It even has a SATA power connector which I used as well in case a device needs it. Definitely looking forward to when they come out with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 for 20Gbps speeds.

I have this card plugged into a PCI-E 16x port, however my oculus link test picks it up as USB 2.0. I've tried installing the drivers on the disk that came with the card, but neither those or the windows recommended ones bring the speed up. Any assistance would be appreciated. I'm running win 10

Tested and confirmed USB 3 Gen2 (10Gbs) speed.Compare with other brands, my first choice is always Sintech (provided the price is reasonable).I purchased other Sintech products like NVMe USB enclosure, NVMe-PCIe adapter card.
