I like this book and it worked well for my daughter who is 9 years old. Easy for her to read and do independently.

I purchased this book to use during my social work sessions with students, and it has been an excellent addition to my lessons on growth mindset. The message is clear, age-appropriate, and presented in a way that truly resonates with students. It does a wonderful job of helping them understand that challenges, mistakes, and effort are all part of learning and growing. What I appreciate most is how engaging and relatable the book is. The language and examples make it easy for students to connect the concepts to their own experiences at school and in social situations. It naturally opens the door for meaningful discussions about perseverance, self-confidence, and positive self-talk, which are key skills we work on in social work sessions. The illustrations and storytelling help keep students focused and interested, and I’ve found that it works well for both individual and small group sessions. My granddaughter is finding it very inteersting as she works her way through it.

Super cute and great messages behind the activities. I got this for my 10 year old daughter and I really like the concept, however it wasn't quite engaging enough for her to keep doing on her own. If you have a little one that likes these sort of activity books I would definitely give it a shot because it is the best one I have found so far.
