On the plus side this wall light gives out a powerful bright white light from a modern stylish fitting.It is let down however by the fixing screws provided which are far too soft so that the screw head deforms easily if you apply any pressure when tightening. Throw these screws away and use decent replacement screws instead.The electrical connections are push fit rather than screw types. Easy to push in solid copper connections but I would not like to try using multi stranded wire. It's also not too clear how to release the wire if you need to but then I did not try too hard.There are two cable entry points ,rear and side. If you want to connect up a number of these lights as I did to illuminate an alleyway then you may need to buy an external 3 way junction box since the entry cable point may not be large enough to act as both entry and exit for your cables.There are no real instructions just a sheet of paper with illustrations on it. You can follow the instructions but a few additional words would not go amiss.TIP: When fixing the light to the wall it is better to make a template out of a thin bit of cardboard, mark the screw holes positions on it and then align the top of the template to the wall using a spirit level to ensure that the light will be mounted on the level. Otherwise it's too easy to mount the light at bit of an angle.Despite the fact that this wall light marketed by a German company it is worth knowing that it is actually MADE in CHINA.

Purchased from Amazon & arrived next day. liked the modern Styling of the light. I bought one without motion sensor as I just want to switch it on when I let my dog roam outside in the dark. I thought with the size of the garden I would need two lights but one really does light up the whole garden. It was easy to fit and is well made. Definitely good value for money. I highly recommend this light.

these are a good set of lights, very bright and lights up my drive way superb, well made and look good.on the downside the internal wiring was fiddly, the connectors are strange and there is no side entry for your external cables to enter the box, but overall good value for money and i bought the sensor one too

These look good and provide plenty of bright light for small back garden - estimate 75watt in old money - installed 4 off them - not quite Hampden Park but I am happy with them. Easy to connect / affix wiring - only long term issue may be zinc plated screws - wee rusties after a few years!!

I was unable to fix directly through wall where lamp was to be fitted. The manufacture allows primarily for entrance of cable from behind the casing and a secondary one underneath. I would suggest that a side entrance on left and right would give it total versatility. Apart from this aspect I am very pleased. It looks good and the lumination excellent.

Very pleased with this light. Comes on as soon as you're out the door & lights up the whole driveway, which is what we wanted it to do, unlike our previous light which came on when you were halfway up the drive.Picks up movement from the pavement & also some vehicles that go by.

Lovely light, modern and looks more expensive than it was, I was really surprised how much light it gave off, would recommend.

Well made lights (2 in a box) superb sharp white light at night, easy to wire up and well sealed and tight back box.
