You have a wait a while for it to dry down on glossy paper. Very smooth and pigmented ink 👍

Good build quality but not suitable for everyday writing. Tip is scratchy and can tear off thin paper. Also ink skips often while writing.

Hate reaching in a drawer to find crappy ball point pen. These are colorful, smooth and always write!

These gel pens are incredibly smooth, and don't skip, a problem I've had with the Pilot G2. I use these in several different journals. I use a Rettacy A5 for book reviews; since the paper in those is very smooth, I had to switch from the 0.7mm to 0.5mm for a neater look, because they glide over the surface. These pens are comfortable to hold, something I appreciate when writing very long reviews, or making other journal entries. For me, the shade of blue is just right; not too dark, but not too weak or washed out. I also like that I can buy a box of a dozen refills for a reasonable price. I have these 0.5 pens in blue, black, violet, and sky blue, but I mostly use the standard blue and black.

I love these pens. I used one in my doctor’s office and had to have it, so I tracked them down on Amazon. They write really smooth and are very comfortable in your hand.
