中？高学生の頃発売されたキットで、当時は1ヶ月分のお小遣いが吹っ飛ぶ2,000円だったと記憶しています。 何だかんだで今回の購入は3回目。 40年以上金型を保管管理してこうして再販してくれるタミヤ模型に感謝。 このキット、付属デカールに頼るところがあるので、古品の接着力ゼロ＆パリパリ になったデカールじゃ製作負荷が大き過ぎ。再販キットなら安心です。（積みプラにしちゃうと駄目だけどw）

This Space shuttle model from Tamiya is A+ in quality and second to none in overall appearance! It was very straight forward to build and includes decals for both early, mid and late model shuttles including Atlantis, Discovery, Endeavour, Challenger and Enterprise! The kit is fairly easy to assemble compared to other models, the engines gimbal with screws holding them in place, the payload doors open and close smoothly with radiators, and it even includes a very detailed cockpit deck. There are multiple payload options, from the ESA lab to the ISS docking module. I was very pleased with how this model turned out. Much better quality then Revell and Airfix, only I wish they also included the the External tank and SRB's. Displays nicely with either the gear up or down.

Tamiya est une fabrication très birn connué pour la qualité de ses kits voitures,je vois qu'elle est aussi au top pour le kit spatiale.

Super detailliertes Modell. Da kann man meiner Meinung nach nichts böses sagen. Super finde ich, dass alle Shuttle Namen bei der Beklebung dabei sind. Auch die 2 verunglückten Shuttles Challenger & Columbia. Weil bei fast allen Modell-Herstellern sind nur die Decals für die intakten Shuttles dabei, sogar für den Prototyp Enterprise. Aber für die 1986 explodierte Challenger und 2003 beim Wiedereintritt verglühte Clumbia habe ich bis jetzt nur bei diesem Modell gefunden. Ich habe alle intakten Shuttles bis auf die Enterprise schon im Maßstab 1:144. Die verunglückten will ich zwecks Gedenken auch bauen. Toll ;-).
