Impressive continuous welding around the legs where you need it the most.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is very high quality. I have purchased 3 of these step ladders over the past 2 years from other manufacturers and they all failed due to the poor welds. I purchased this step ladder from Pr1me Sumex Tools and the welding is impressive. The welds are continuous around the legs where you need it the most. I am very happy with this purchase.

excellent stepstool, but be careful where you put it.
My wife has dementia problems and needs help getting in and out of a vehicle. The first step stool I bought was exactly like this one. The problem - I got my wife out of the vehicle and moved it over to give her room to walk. Then after taking her inside and unloading some groceries on the other side of the vehicle, I realized I had not gone to Church to pay our tithe. Therefore, I started the vehicle and promptly ran over the stepstool which was under the vehicle on the other side. It was damaged. I went on to Church, came home, and promptly ordered another. We like it as it does the job well. It is very sturdy and as safe as you can find in step stools. I recommend this product.

Problems on first use
First time I used it one of the leg locks fell apart (the lock that keeps it from folding). When I picked it up after using it for a few minutes one of the plastic leg caps fell off.The extension locks are stiff and a bit difficult to use, but acceptable. After only one use, they haven't broken yet, but I am a bit worried about the plastic locking mechanism. The leg locks are not very important since the legs want to stay unfolded when there is weight on the step. They might try to fold up if the step was on loose dirt and a sideways force was applied.I plan to drill holes through the caps and add screws to keep them from falling off. After this, it may be an acceptable step, but I may need to find a better way to lock the legs in the down position. The quality definitely does not reflect the price paid, but I think I can fix it rather than return it. Except for the leg folding and extending mechanisms, the step does seem to be sturdy and I like the size.

Great curbside (!) SUV step for elderly
In the photo, the street-side legs are flipped out, and are at their shortest (8" to top). The curb-side legs remain in their stored position (2" high). NYC curbs are 6", so the platform is a level 8" above the street. This application is for elderly who has problems stepping into high SUV.

Well made
Glad I purchased this. I read the one review at the time that talked about how well made this was. This is true as the welds are full welds and not spot welds. I fully trust these welds and am so happy with this product. Plus the carry handle is helpful! Highly recommend this product!

Worth The Money!
This is a high quality step. We bought it to get in and out of our 1948 Flxible Clipper and it's works great. The adjustable legs make it easy to make level on uneven ground. It fold up flat enough to put in the cabinet easily. I highly recommend it.

It's perfect for us
This is just so handy. I love how easily the feet adjust in height, I love that it collapses (although that takes a little more patience to push in the knobs cuz my hands aren't strong, but we don't have a need to collapse it to store it anyway), the splayed feet make it stable and trustworthy as we climb in and out of our RV, and it's lightweight enough to move it around easily. The reflective edges are a nice touch in the dim light of the evening, too. Our camping buddy got a similar one, but ours seems to be easier to manage as far as carrying and adjusting. Can't think of any drawbacks to its design. I highly recommend.
