The Stud Finder That Gets It Right Every Time!
Finding a reliable stud finder has always been a challenge—until I got my hands on the Franklin Sensors ProSensor M210. This isn’t just another hit-or-miss wall scanner; it’s a game-changer for DIYers and professionals alike.Unboxing & First ImpressionsRight out of the box, the ProSensor M210 feels solid and well-built. Unlike flimsy, outdated stud finders that rely on single-point scanning, this one boasts 13 precision sensors, which means no more second-guessing. It’s designed for accuracy, and you can tell immediately that this tool means business.Performance That Stands OutI tested this on multiple surfaces—drywall, plaster, and even textured walls—and the M210 delivered flawlessly every time. Instead of scanning multiple times to confirm a stud’s location, this device displays the entire width of the stud at once, saving time and eliminating uncertainty. The bright LED indicators are easy to read, making stud location a breeze. The live wire detection is another standout feature. It provides an added layer of safety when working near electrical wiring—something most budget stud finders fail at.Why This Stud Finder Beats the CompetitionHaving used other stud finders, I can confidently say that the M210 blows them out of the water. Compared to models that require slow swiping and recalibrations, this one provides instant and precise readings. No need to hold down a button or guess where the stud actually starts. No calibration needed – just place it on the wall and scan! Durable and well-built.Final Verdict – Worth Every Penny! If you’re tired of false positives, misreads, and endless rescanning, the Franklin Sensors ProSensor M210 is the ultimate solution. Whether you’re a DIY enthusiast, contractor, or handyman, this stud finder will make your work easier, faster, and more accurate.

Very useful
I just received it today so long term review is yet decided. It’s light weight, fast detection, accurate for finding studs AND live wires as well as a leveler, which is always handy. Comfortable and sturdy, easy to use. No calibration needed. Just 2x AA Batteries (not included) Also comes with a little pencil inside which was awesome. Playing around to see how it works - it picked up where I know live wires to be and found every stud - giving you width and center indications. What a fun and VERY USEFUL tool.

Finally upgraded from the magnetic and cheaper stud finders to this Franklin ProSensor and am glad I did so. Not only easier to use, but more accurate and multi-functional replaces all my other similar tools in one shot. The sensor is very accurate down to at least 1/8" and has worked flawlessly. It is also pretty rugged and has a sturdy build. The live wire meter also works perfectly and clearly highlights the same to ensure stress-free drilling into drywall. All functions worked flawlessly for varying thicknesses of drywall including double hung with sound dampening inserts. The built-in level is also a helpful time-saving feature for marking draft lines. The lights are very bright even in direct sunlight-- the product is lightweight and easy to hold while marking indentations for stud locations-- I've used the built-in pencil holder which is a bonus and saves time. Overall, I'm impressed with the product and would highly recommend.

Very accurate and easy to use.
I bought this stud finder because it was decently priced, and it has the ability to detect live electrical wires. For the price, the product works great, and it is easy to use. I like that it has a slot to insert a pencil for easily marking your spot. Overall, and good buy.CONS: Your fingers may get a workout if you find yourself scanning a lot of wall surfaces because you have to press down on the button the whole time.

I love this stud finder. It shows both sides of the board so you know where the board begins and stops. This is so much easier than others I have used. It also shows electrical which is very helpful. I thought it was a great value.

Stud Finder that works!
Accurate, easy to use. Finding center stud and the electrical identification are nice. My previous stud finders were almost useless out of the box. I've used this for 4 different odd jobs around the house and it was great. Worth the money

100% worth the money
I've had a Zircon E50 stud finder for almost 15 years, and it's served me well enough, but as a homeowner and with my wife wanting a lot more decorations, I knew I needed something more robust. The Zircon was OK, in that it was able to identify studs and gave a nice graphical (and audio) indicator, but the downside was that I still had to measure the left and right side of the studs to try to make sure I wasn't hitting an edge. The Franklin sensor is much nicer that it shows the entire width of the stud in a very easy visual indicator. I do wish it had a beep or audio feedback, but I can live without that. I bought the 13-sensor version, and it has a small pencil holder (which is VERY convenient), a built-in bubble level, and has notches along the top that you can use to make marks. I think this has been the fastest I have ever mounted something in my walls, so I'm extremely pleased. It takes 2 AA batteries which are much easier to replace than the 9V in the Zircon, so that's a big plus as well.I used the provided 15% off coupon from Franklin to buy the hard-sided case (from Amazon, who honored the coupon) to protect it, since it's not something I'd want just tossing around in my toolbag. I'll still use the Zircon in a pinch, but I'll definitely keep this tool close!
