Decopolitan 27941-36ES End Cap Curtain Rod Set, 36 to 72-Inch, Black Espresso

This is the second time I’ve bought this item. The first time I needed about a 10 foot curtain rod, but this time I needed 84 inches. The description says 72 inches to 144 inches, and I relied on that, knowing that I have been happy with the other one I have. When I tried to put it together, it appeared that there was no way to get a length shorter than 99 inches… which is correct if you assemble all three pieces - the two larger diameter pieces, connected by the smaller insert piece in the middle. I found one review that described the exact problem I was having, and I initiated a return for the item. I was so disappointed!It was only while I was packing it up to return, that I realized the smaller diameter piece in the center is actually made to be able to attach a finial at one of its ends, making it easy to get the length I needed by using just two of the three pieces. However, this was something I figured out for myself, as the instruction sheet with this information was well hidden in a box with the mounting hardware (which I was not planning to use for my installation).I am very pleased with both of the rods I’m now using. I’m glad I was able to use this one and cancel my return. It comes very well packed and is of good quality for light to medium weight curtains, and would definitely buy it again for a similar use.That said, I can somewhat confirm what another reviewer said about the difficulty of trying to extend this rod to the full 144 inches advertised. Using all three pieces, it easily extends to 120 or 130 inches, maybe even 140 if you’re careful. But at 144 inches, there is so little overlap between the pieces that it feels really flimsy and I would be concerned that it would slip out and fall down from just normal use.

I bought this to go over a 3 pane sliding glass door. I also needed something with out the large balls on the end that could hold 4 panels of curtains. I have had this rod up for at least 6 months and I am very pleased because I open and close the curtains everyday. And the rod has stayed up there when I am here and even through multiple renters! Good product!

Great quality easy to assemble and to install it.

Used this curtain rod in-one of our bedrooms and it looks great. Bedroom has one window and is not large room so I wanted smaller rod. This rod fit the bill!

I needed a basic curtain rod without any frills or extreme design features and which would work well with simple linen curtains. These rods are very suitable and I rated them a 4 because there are some things to note when installing. The rods expand using 3 rods. One slides into each end of the other two creating a middle rod. This works well but needs to be balanced so that it doesn't sag in the middle when you expand the rod. To do this I put a bit of painters tape at the center point on the middle rod and then made sure that the rod went equally into each of the other two sides. I taped each side with a bit of painters tape to keep everything in place and then once the curtain was hung I carefully removed the tape. Yes, there is a center support the help with sagging but I couldn't use it due to the window configuration. Also, keep in mind that the brackets for the rod are not made of very heavy duty material so treat it with care so that they don't bend or break. The finials on the end also get pushed into the ends of the curtains. They are two different sizes. One fit into it's end easily and the other needed some real pressure to fit in. The kit indicates that there is an adaptor for the smaller end, but in my set this was already installed on the end. For fundamental needs, these are great and very economical.

Arrived in excellent condition. Some previous reviews said theirs arrived with plastic push on finials. Mine are metal screw on ones. Very happy with the purchase. Color is an oil rubbed bronze tone.

In terms of function these were just what I needed. They are sturdy and easy to hang. I just wanted a narrow curtain on both ends of a long blind for accent therefore, I needed a short rod. These fit the bill. However, after a few weeks of being hung they’ve started to get black marks all over them from the curtain grommet rings rubbing on them. Probably a result of curtains swaying in the breeze.? Not sure if the marks are actual scratched off metal finish or some other kind of mark. But it is ascetically unpleasant. We have 10’ ceilings so I haven’t climbed up close to look yet.

The media could not be loaded.  I've had these curtains for a while now and as much as I love them because it was big enough for my big windows for my sliding glass door and my front window in the house they're beautiful the only flaw is I wish the little pin that holds the rod in place would have its own little indent to where it won't ever come loose once you screw it in because as you keep opening and closing the curtains the screw gets loose and the rod starts moving back and forth, right now it's scratching my rod up big time so I always have to have the curtain covering it so that you don't see how ugly it looks that's the only flaw other than that the rod is a pretty good rod

Es muy bonito, tiene buena construccion, se siente como una aleacion de metal y plastico pero a la vista luce bien, no pesa nada, trae tres soportes para detenerlo en la mitad, la cuestion es que queda demasiado despegado de la pared y es antiestetico, son 10 cms de la pared a la cortina eso es demasiado para mi gusto, tuve que quitarlo, por eso 3 estrellas, el color es el real en tono matte. There is a white ring of plastic that isn't really obvious in the picture, and it came broken. Returned it. If you are very particular about the look, zoom in on the pictures and make sure you are okay with having the white ring visible on the rod.

The pic looks sturdier than the rod actually is. We ended up taping the joints on the rod as the curtains kept pulling it apart. Because it is in a bedroom where only we will see it, we just taped it rather than return it.

Parfaite grandeur mais en plastique... la qualité est bof... quand même acceptable.
