Q: Would you use these to tie your anchor rope? I have a 18.5 ft. fish and ski biat.

I don’t see any issues using these cleats as an anchor tie point. They’re sturdy and strong enough to withstand wind and current forces for your 18 foot boat. However, I would definitely not use them for towing, they’re not strong enough as they bolt to thin parts of the fiberglass.

The rubber tabs have a bump on them. This bump need to line up with the indent on the pop up boat cleats folding part to help keep the folding part standing up.hope helps.
