We’ve been using Blue Lizard Mineral Lotion for years—ever since our pediatrician recommended it when our kids were toddlers. It quickly became our go-to sunscreen every summer. The coverage is amazing, and it truly lasts through long beach days, pool time, and outdoor play. Yes, it leaves a bit of white residue, but honestly, that's a small price to pay for protection that actually works and doesn’t wash off easily. We've always felt confident putting it on our kids' sensitive skin.Just recently, we stumbled upon the Blue Lizard spray, and we might be converts. It’s so light and airy, and my 7-year-old can reapply it by himself at camp—huge win. It still gives us the trusted protection we love, just in a much more convenient form. We’ll probably keep both on hand, but the spray is definitely a new favorite for busy summer days.Highly recommend both versions—Blue Lizard continues to impress us year after year.

I’ve tried a lot of mineral sunscreens, and Blue Lizard is hands-down one of the best. It provides excellent protection without all the harsh chemicals — perfect for my sensitive skin and even gentle enough for my kids. No breakouts, no rashes, no weird smells.Yes, it goes on a little white at first (as most mineral sunscreens do), but it blends in well with just a little effort. The tradeoff is worth it for the peace of mind knowing I’m not putting a bunch of questionable ingredients on my skin.Bonus points for the smart bottle that changes color in UV light — a fun reminder that it’s time to reapply! It stays on well through swimming and sweating, but still washes off without scrubbing my skin raw.Highly recommend if you're looking for a no-nonsense, reef-safe, skin-friendly sunscreen that does what it promises.

As much as I love this brand, do not buy the spray. I went against the reviews and better judgment of people saying the nozzle broke. I used it twice and the nozzle broke. Now I have a completely full bottle that I cannot use and wasted $15 on. I still standby blue lizard brand but not the spray bottle. Then I was not able to return it because this is not a refundable item. Was not able to get a money money refund nor was I able to return the item. Stuck with full thing of sunscreen that I can’t use out 15 bucks.

Ever since we found out about Blue Lizard, it is literally the only sunscreen we use on our kids (and sometimes ourselves!)Over the last few years of using the spray and lotion, once we apply this sunscreen, the kids have never had a sunburn.. even in 100+ degree heat and spending all day out in the sun. There have been times, when it is extremely hot, we do apply a few times a day.. but it does appear to have a long lifespan during the day and goes on very thick which takes awhile to rub in but it is worth the extra cost and effort!

Bought this for a beach trip with my 4 year old and 15 month old. It was super easy to spray on and needed just a little rubbing in (as opposed to those zinc ones that are pure white and need a lot to get absorbed). Neither of my kids burned at all!

Doesn’t make my kiddos whiteout and they never burn. We live in FL and I only apply once a day.

Wish I would have used it sooner before my return window closed because it barely sprays any actual product! Not sure if I got a defective bottle but no matter how much I spray barely any product comes out. Very disappointing specially since it is brand new!
