Nice good quality lighting kit
The media could not be loaded. I bought this lighting kit to use for my wife and daughter. They are both into TikTok at the minute and love making videos together so this lighting kit helps them get a better quality video. It’s very very easy to use and set up took me around 15 minutes. Once assembled they are very very easy to move around. The included remote controls work great too.You get some fantastic lighting effects for your videos with this lighting kit which has please my wife and daughter very much.So for the following reasons I have decided to rate it as 5 stars:Easy to set upEasy to useGood qualityRemote control works wellEasy to store and move around

Very happy purchase
The best lighting system I ever bought. Very powerful light, comes with 2 remote controllers, million options of colour, disco, strobe, white and yellow natural light, several light games. Both lights have a cooling fan, easy to assemble and dismantle plus it comes with so many bags to carry around. Very high quality and professional design. Super happy with my purchase.

Andoer: Softbox Lighting Kit (RGB)
▬ Introduction ▬▬▬There are two different products that share the same product page: Standard lighting kit (warm/daylight white) | RGB lighting kit (warm/daylight white with a variety of coloured options); this review is for the RGB version.▬ Included Contents ▬▬▬This lighting kit has almost everything you need to get started; the only additional purchase required is for the remote controls which each take 2x AAA batteries; though the remotes are not assigned to a particular light, so you can use one remote for both.Included in the box you should find the following:• 2x RGB LED light unit.• 2x Softboxes (assembly required).• 2x Light stands.• 2x Power cable and AC adaptors.• 2x Remote controls.• 1x Carry bag (can hold all contents inside). No instruction manual was included which would have been useful for the light box set-up.▬ Set-Up Process ▬▬▬The setting up process for the lights is mainly straight-forward: The light stand folds out easily and the light head goes on top and tightened with a wing-screw. The power cable plugs into the back of the light head and the other end goes into a power outlet. The fiddliest part for me was the softbox... I knew roughly what to do as I've owned similar light set-ups in the past; however, it would be nice to have a clearer view on what I had to do. Careful when putting the rods into the corners of the light box, make sure you get it in the gap of the pad and not underneath (if you go through, you've put it in the wrong place). After a little faffing around I got there in the end.▬ In-Use & Results ▬▬▬To turn the light on, you HAVE to use the remote control; the same goes for when adjusting all settings as there is no option to do this on the actual unit. The remote does feel cheap but at least it does the job and is fairly responsive. Results in my opinion were a mixed bag... When using either three of the standard white light settings, the results are extremely good; the brightness output is very satisfactory so cannot complain in that regard. In combination with the lightbox, a nice, soft light is achievable. The area where this light REALLY lacks in, is its RGB range. When using any of the colours, the output brightness cannot match anywhere near the output of the white settings which make it very dull and not fulfilling at all; I would have to REALLY bump up the camera settings to get better results.I personally think Andoer shouldn't be doing an RGB feature until the can deliver. In comparison, my Neewer 660 RGB light can deliver an equal output amount of brightness across all colour variations.▬ Final Thoughts ▬▬▬If you are looking for RGB light settings, this product is not ideal and would recommend looking at one of Neewer's RGB panel lights instead. If the RGB feature is not something of interest, then go for Andoer's standard lighting kit instead.✔ Pros:✓ Lightweight.✓ Comes with everything required (except batteries).✓ White LED settings are very good.✓ Produces nice soft light when using the softbox.✖ Cons:✘ RGB features lacks in output quality.✘ Have to use the remote control to turn on and adjust settings.✘ No instructions were included.

A potentially fantastic softbox/filler light kit let down by terrible design (new RGB version).
First thoughts:ProsAdjustable and dimmable RGB LED fill-lights.LED banks are not permanently connected to the softbox.Nice, tall and stable tripods approx 6.5 feet tall when extended.Remote controls for the lighting functions, temperature and brightness.Built in cooling fans for the light banks.Long cables allow full extension of the tripod and still enough length to make it to the floor and into a socket (this is very important to me).Lots of carry bags and sleeves for the individual bits of kit and a large bag to store all of it in.ConsTerrible design to bend the frame rods from the LED heads to the softbox anchors (so much so that it deforms the plastic on the LED bank and causes gaps between the casing and the diffuser. There were no instructions either so this was pure trial and error to find a solution to connecting this.Cannot be turned on or off without the remote (there are no switches on the LED bank or the power cable to operate the lights, remotes require 2xAAA batteries).Remotes are not on separate channels so it's difficult to control the temperature or light on one without it changing the other as well.Light diffusion is pretty good but the material could do with being a little thicker to even out the light (you can see a much brighter spot behind the material).Unfortunately these little issues are a big enough design oversight to make what was looking like a great all-around fill-light kit more inconvenient and annoying for me to set up and use. I have quite a few photography and video lighting systems and I’m always interested in what’s hitting the market in the starter, intermediate and pro categories, this softbox kit would have done quite well for those expanding their starter kits or as supporting equipment at the intermediate level.I had first thought that they had sent the incorrect accessories as initially I couldn’t see a way to connect the 4 rods per box to anything to create a frame. There were no holes or attachment on the front of the LED banks and no umbrella style framework in the softbox like all my other fill-lights. I even tried pushing the rods into the screw recesses on the back of the LED banks and that’s when I spotted 4 holes without screws in.The LED head is supposed to be placed in the softbox material and orientated so the 4 holes behind the LEDs on the side of the unit point towards the 4 corners. The 4 rods are then to be placed in the side of the LED head and then bent forward into the softbox anchor points (this is all incredibly fiddly, feels like I’m about to break them and does not make for convenient or speedy setup or packing away). This coupled with having to find batteries for the remote just to get them switched on or off and I soon returned to using my other photography and video lighting.Details and things to note (See pictures):This new version is a dimmable RGB and LED light bank with a range of light sequences (flash, fade and slow pulse), selectable and preset colours as well as the usual White, Natural and Warm light with brightness control. Some of the RGB sequences are duplicated but I don’t really use these so it’s not a loss. The softboxes are a separate item and so can be added to the LED bank. They have their own diffuser which connects to the front of the softbox with hook and loop fasteners. The power supply units are in two parts, a pin connector into the LED bank and then to a power block that connects to the mains. The cables are a good length as I’ve had lighting systems in the past that I can’t hang on the tripod because the wire is too short and won’t reach the ground. The remotes are fairly self explanatory but it is such a shame that this is the only way to switch on the kit. If the batteries fail, the remote is lost or forgotten then the LED banks can’t be switched on at all as there is no simple On/Off switch on the LED bank, the cable or power supply.Final thoughts:Quite disappointed as this was so close to being a great intermediate fill-light kit (potential 5 Star). There’s lots of good points and versatility but it’s spoilt by some simple silly things that make it inconvenient to set up and use.If you leave your lights set up in your studio then these may not be so bad with not having to put them together and pack them away (which is the fiddly bit) and I don’t like the thought that I won’t be able to even switch them on to a default light setting to use them if I forget/lose the remote. If they can sort out a less damaging way to connect to the softbox and put a power switch on the cable or the LED bank like their 3 colour temperature version then this will be a pretty awesome intermediate kit or upgrade for anyone taking their product photography or Vlogging to the next level.Unfortunately until then I can’t comfortably recommend this if you need a softbox that’s quick and easy to set up or pack away. I’ll continue to use my other boxes as primary fill lights and use these as emergency backups. Sorry!
