You’ve never felt diamond-like natural beauty with your whole hand. You’ve never felt precision-sculpted glass on both sides. You’ve never felt the aesthetic joy of Zen’s signature concentric-circle pattern, or the tactile excitement of spun-cut etchings. All this because you’ve never felt ZenFone 3. It’s time your senses felt exquisite design. It’s time for ZenFone 3. ZenFone 3 is the definition of refined craftsmanship. Encased in contoured Corning Gorilla Glass and tapering to a thin 6.16mm edge, ZenFone 3 has a fluid, multi-dimensional design that’s finished with a diamond-cut chamfer. Excellent Product
I love this phone. It has a very nice design to it. Aside from that, being an IT person myself, I like to have nice electronics. My usual phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8, and we bought this Asus ZenFone 3 as our travel phone for an upcoming trip. I can tell you right now, I'm liking it EVEN BETTER than my S8. It runs fast and smoothly. I have no complaints.

Great budget phone with flagsship phone qualities.
The phone quality is top notch, everything about it screams premium phone. It can handle everything you throw at it. It has really great cameras, pictures are crisp and vibrant, also takes 4k video. Battery life is fair after heavy use, video streaming, social networking and heavy gaming. The phone does not over heat like previous ones I have owned. It is upgradeable to android 7.0. I came from Sony Xperia Z3 plus to this phone, pretty much same specs and quality. As I previously wrote, this is a great phone for the price. One year up date:The phone still works how it should. Updated to Oreo this week. Even bought my wife one 5 months ago she also loves the phone. Would buy it again. It a great budget phone.

Fast, customizable, great camera, sleek, dependable
I bought this phone August 2016. I loved it SO MUCH that I talked my boyfriend into getting one in May 2018. I still use this phone! It's fast, it has a great camera, and is very durable. I try to keep a shock-absorbing case on it at all times. I finally cracked the screen last week after dropping it for the millionth time (it didn't have a case on it, and hit asphalt in just the right - or wrong - place) and am thinking about ordering ANOTHER one! I have dropped this phone down a WATERFALL and after a day in rice, it worked JUST THE SAME. This phone is ahead of its time. Asus is a wonderful computer brand, and I did a lot of research back in 2016 before ordering a new phone. I'm so glad I went with this one. There's a website called "phone arena" that lets you compare specs of different phones. Go ahead, compare it to your current phone. I guarantee it'll make you want to purchase the Asus ZenFone 3.

Great value, definetly better than Zenfone 2
This is a great phone it feels very premium with the metal body and curved glass on the front and on the back. The finger print scanner is as fast as the iPhone's, and it can be used for payments like on the Google play store. The camera has many great features like time lapse, slow motion (60fps), super resolution, panorama, and 16 others. What is really great is the manual mode which can allow you to have a "photographer's experience" where you can control iso, shutter speed, white balance, exposure value, and the focal length. I also enjoy 4k video recording and laser auto focusing. The screen is very vibrant and gets up to 600 nits of brightness which does well outside. Also if you have issues with phone's color temperature or saturation there is a great tool called Splendid which comes preinstalled where you can customize your screen. My issues are that the glass is fairly fragile. I would definitely recommend buying a case for it and definitely a screen protector. Also if you have used an apple phone, you may know that many apps just don't work as well on Android devices. This isn't an issue with this phone, Samsung has some issues with certain apps also. Overall, I would definitely recommend this device.

Asus is a great company and always have fantastic quality products
Have had this phone for about 5 months now. The reason I bought it was because of the brand, Asus is a great company and always have fantastic quality products. Everything is great about this phone for the price; great cameras, build quality and look. I trusted Asus because I've bought motherboards from them before. Also one of the biggest things for me about this phone is that there is NO BLOATWARE, unlike Samsung phones. There are a few preinstalled apps but nothing that really gets in your face and pisses you off like other brands. The UI looks nice as well. Makes you feel kinda unique because you're using a phone brand that barely anyone else uses, but I am so glad that I found this brand of phones. I will be sticking with Asus for phones from now on because of this phone.

Loved it at first, but has some issues.
***UPDATE - Reduced rating from 5 to 4 stars, though I would have liked a 3.5 star option. After less than 2 months, I dropped my phone and the screen shattered. I didn't have protective glass on it because I couldn't find an option for screen protectors that rated higher than 2.5 stars. I liked the phone very much at first, but began to realize that it had its glitches, such as randomly deciding not to download updates or new apps. I had to do a factor reset twice (in less than two months). After the most recent system update, that issue seemed to work itself out. I also discovered that because Asus is not a hot commodity, finding quality accessories was a PITA. (Thus why I had no screen protection on it). I pains me to say that it will likely either cost me $100 for a new screen on a $150 phone, or I will need to replace the phone. I'm thinking I'm going to replace, but not with the same phone. Will probably upgrade a bit to a Motorola G6 which has plenty of high rated accessories.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Bought to replace my LG G3, which had begun crashing repeatedly at the most inopportune moments. I refused to buy another phone through contract and was unwilling to pay much more than $150. My priorities were simply to have phone, text, a navigation system that didn't crash, and a nice camera. So far, this little ZenFone fits the bill perfectly, and in a beautiful simple package. It's only been a few days, but so far, I am very happy. :)

Great phone for its money equal to the Samsung Galaxy S8
Great phone had it for half a year. It is equal to a Samsung galaxy 8. Soooooooo many features that make it great. The camera is really good but the camera software is one of the best. Its really fast and the battery lasts 2 days on regular use. One time I went on a trip and took 500 pictures and videos and it only lasted three-quarters of the day. Exceptional phone. It's really cheap for its quality and performance. I looked at phones before this and all of the equivalent were $400. there's lots of space on it and you can insert as big of an SD card as you want. Haven't had any problems with it yet. On the camera it has great filters and a ton of features like taking 4 pictures that are 16 megapixels and combining them into one 64 megapixel picture, and lots more. one thing but it doesn't say in the description is that it runs on Android 8. 0 and it keeps updating. When I first bought it it ran on 6. 2 then it keeps updating. if you want more information on the phone because the description and specs for it aren't very good go to asus. Com and look for the phone there. It also charges on USB C cable and the speaker is incredibly loud. When I bought it was only $240. If you want to buy accessories for it I suggest you buy it on Amazon because they're really difficult to find because this is the international version.Came back to review it now.Great phone no problems absolutely awesome.

Amazing performance and asthetics for the price
I love this phone... looks are unmatched in my opinion, I really don't want to cover it up with a case, but being glass on both sides I'm nervous about dropping it. The camera is the best that I've ever used on a phone, super responsive and has a nice interface feel. ! Edit ! The camera stopped focusing after about 8 months and the camera is now useless even in manual mode, looking on forums this is a very common problem, if you care about the camera function at all I cannot recommend this phone anymore! Everything else is still great though.

Commonly reported camera hardware issues a year later.
Camera stopped focusing after a year. Tried all the workarounds and resets and it doesn’t fix it. Learned that this is a common problem with several of their models and a lot of users have complained. They’re a responsive company and they try to make it right but the problem returns even on repaired phones. They really need to put more effort into quality control of their components. Would not be buying Asus again which is a shame because other than the camera issue, it was a gorgeous phone :(

A quien corresponda buenas tardes,NO RECOMIENDO QUE COMPREN ESTE EQUIPO YA QUE NOS HACEN RESPONSABLES SI TIENEN ALGÚN DAÑO, Y NO SIRVIÓ EL EQUIPO. ME GUSTARÍA QUE ME REEMBOLSARÁN LO QUE COMPRE YA QUE NO SIRVIÓ PARA NADA Y ESO QUE YA PASÓ TIEMPO Y NUNCA ME CONTESTARON.

It's an alright phone.
Phone is alright, was pre-registered with ASUS by someone else so I can't register my phone to get support for it which is unfortunate because I've had some problems with it. Not a bad phone at all, fast enough, sometimes glitches out on me and reboots for no reason. Battery can rapidly jump from 20 to 0 at random. But besides that it was a decent purchase and ASUS is pretty good about keeping up with updates so far which I really appreciate it. Metal rim on the outside wears down super easy so get a case.
