Bayer Animal Health Advantage II Extra Large Dog 4-Pack

We've been battling with flees for months with our three dogs and one cat. My daughter moved in with her dog, and she came from a house inundated with fleas. We used this on all three dogs for a couple months, making sure to not be late giving the doses, and we are finally free of fleas in the house. My pit bull is extremely allergic to fleas and gets allergic eczema because of it, losing his hair, scabby scaly skin, insesent scratching etc. We finally have that taken care of as well, and we are so happy he is feeling happy and healthy again! I get the extra large dog, multiple month, and then share one of the months between our two smaller dogs, one which is 10 pounds, the other 7. I bought bought small syringes (minus the needles of course) and dosage enough for each dog. Doing it this way, I pay the same amount, but get twice the amount of medicine. If you aren't concerned with getting a name brand product, I found the exact same ingredients in another brand, for way cheaper - advecta II. I'm not scheduled to use it for two weeks, so I can't say how it works. But it has the exact same ingredients as the Advantage II, so I expect the same results.

Got rid of flea problem quickly.

We tried multiple types of flea treatments for our five cats. Doesnt really matter how you do it, it will be fairly expensive. After speaking with their vet, she recommended buying this dog treatment and filling syringes. At least, thats what she said she does. At first we were put off a bit due to the cost of this stuff. We tried getting it through eBay. Don't do that. There are people on there selling what we suspect is expired and less effective treatment. Stupid mistake to make but we did it, and we have learned.This medicine is worth it for keeping the fleas off the creatures. And it is good fun too. They see you coming with it and they scatter in all directions. It doesn't appear to cause them discomfort. They are just a bunch of wee devils.

It seems to work better than the cheaper ones that I thought were the same. Still not lasting a month. I use on my cats as advantage 2 large dog has the same ingredients. We’ve been battling bad flea seasons the last few years here.

I have used this on cats at the correct dosage for many many years (20 at least) at the recommendation of a vet. My avg cat is about 7 (mm? its a rather small syringe I got from the pharmacist.) Once a month. No fleas. Thumbs up

My husband and I have used this and the version for cats for years and it works great. Sometimes fleas get immune to certain flea medications in certain areas, but it works where we live in GA and also in NC where my sister lives. Although our cats are not a fan of the process, it goes on fast which really helps when they won't sit still! It kills fleas quickly, within 12 hrs they are dead. I suggest using Adam's flea spray to treat your house as well so you don't get a reinfestation.

I know flea populations can vary in what works, which is why I gave it a 3. I've always had success with advantage in the past, though, which has me wondering if this was the real thing or a fake.

I liked the reasonable price, it arrived quickly, was well packaged and seems to work well.
