Q: Would this fit if thr door is shorter?

the magnets are across the top and sides and you could probably make it shorter without losing the integrity of the door.

Q: Is this renter friendly? I’ve seen reviews for other screens saying the Velcro took off paint around their door.

It also comes with easy to remove nails with large heads. I don't use the velcro - I just use the nails which are basically large tacks. Holds fine and actually better than the velcro.

Q: How do you install it?

It's easy, just follow the instructions. My son put it up for me in about 5 minutes. It works great too. Let the cool breezes in during the hot summer months.
