Q: My hair is very short. Will the patch show from behind - that is, if someone were to stand behind me?

the patch is oval, about a half inch or smaller, clear with tiny clear threads, I wear my hair up all the time. If someone were a foot behind you and staring at your ears they would see a bit if you have butterfly backs. With omega backs the wouldn't see it. Buy them, they are great. Better than a ripped piercing. If you already have a ripped piercing, they will hold even heavy earrings in place. I wouldn't wear earrings without them.

Four (4) boxes inclusive of sixty patches per box (240 patches total); averaging a 4 month supply. Great deal!!! In the mall at the accessory stores, each box sells for at least $10.95 each. I was so happy and grateful to purchase the four boxes for so much less on Amazon.

Q: Can I use these and avoid plastic surgery to repair my earlobes?

My earlobe holes are stretched and I had considered injections to make the holes smaller. The support patches work well with hanging earrings. I honestly prefer Silicone & Sterling Silver earring backs for studs. I don't know if this helps you because I do not know the severity of your condition. Mine pretty much is the same as the photo on the box of Lobe Wonder Earring Support Patches. Best wishes.
