Works with Cricket Wireless and oh so pretty
As soon as I put in my Cricket sim card, I received a text with the configuration settings needed to work with the carrier (need to do this before MMS and internet will work). Been working perfectly. Connectivity seems to be on point. Purchased through Mobiles International LLC and came with everything indicated: headphones, usb cable, charger. Even came with a 16gb MicroSD card. Not sure if that's standard but I was pleasantly surprised. Saves me the hassle of needing to pick one up for now. Just received yesterday, but I'm very happy with this purchase. Screen looks amazing, clear and vibrant, stylus is handy with note taking. Running pretty fast compared to my old phone at least. (Zte Grand X4 - bleh) Fast shipping to boot. Love LG and very happy with this phone. Stylo Plus 2 cases and screen protectors fit well btw.

Make sure you get a case and screen protector right away!
I'd like to preface this review with the fact that my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 just died, so I'm still getting over that phone. I've only had this LG Stylus 2 Plus for less than a week, so my opinion may change in the future. I bought it directly at a T-Mobile retail store. My first impression was that it was quick, just a few milliseconds slower than my Note 3 when it was brand new. My Note 3 started to slow down after a year and a half or so, but it was still pretty quick for the most part. I'm still getting used to the volume controls and home button being in the back, and having no home button on the front. But I discovered that I can lock and unlock the screen by double-tapping it. The thing that I don't like about the LG is the screen rotation has a serious lag compared to my Note 3. The screen resolution of the LG is almost as good as my Note 3. The other thing I don't like about the LG is the camera isn't as high a resolution as the Note 3, but still really good in well lit conditions. I recently took a panoramic picture from atop a hiking trail and the city below looks really pixelated as you move towards the horizon in the photo. Another thing is the pen doesn't feel as robust as the Note 3, but overall I like the phone. One more thing, If you do plan to get one, make sure you get a case and screen protector right away as the frame structure feels very cheap to me and seems it would break if it slipped out of your hands or anything above 1/2 a feet.UPDATE April 27, 2017: After about a month of use, I need to knock off a star because I've been noticing that on a daily basis it's just not as fast and powerful as my Samsung Note 3. Even though it's a newer phone, the processors are a downgrade for me. I've also had software and technical issues with the phone and had to contact LG support a couple times which I never had to do with the Samsung. Also, the GPS is not as accurate as the Note 3.One thing I can commend this phone on is the quick and consistent connection to my bluetooth devices, especially my car's radio. Range is better, too.

very disappointed. i was mislead
I am very disappointed and really wish i hadn't purchase this phone. I live in Jamaica and i can't return it. This phone is the upgraded version of the LG stylus 2 and the features are almost the same. The LG stylus 2 is dual sim and seeing that this is the upgraded version i was expecting to be dual sim also. I read the reviews and someone said it was but unfortunately it is not ans its wat more pricey than the STYLUS 2. secondly this phons was advertised as having finger print sensor and it doesn't. I am grossly disappointed and i need a refund. Feel as if i was scammed. What did i spend so much money for the name???

Does not work on AT&T data network
I like the phone but I does not work on AT&T's data network. It says it is connected with 3G but the data doesn't work. I called AT&T and they said it's not compatible with their data network. I can make calls and use the wifi but nothing else. The phone is really nice, just wish I knew about the data issue.
