While my co-workers seem to prefer using their cell phones as calculators, I picked this up to use to verify counts in the distribution center where I work.I guess my age and thought process is radically different from my co-workers, as I don't want to carry my cell, or risk damaging it just to use as a calculator while working my shift.So, I gave this a try.The price was right, the display is easy to read and it's performed perfectly for what I've needed while running various pieces of equipment.Also, if something happens to the calculator in the DC, it would be far easier to replace than my Samsung Galaxy.The only issue I had was that the calculator wasn't a good fit on some of the equipment I use at times. So, I purchased the Casio shown in the picture for when a smaller calculator would be a better fit. However, I have to be careful with the Casio as it is nowhere near as robustly built as the Amazon.I haven't done it, and hope it doesn't happen, but I figure the Amazon may take some abuse and keep working. If the Casio drops off the equipment one time (or I drop it on the floor), I figure it will be done for as it is so thin and lightweight.In the end, no regrets on this purchase at all.

It is does what you would want it to do. it's not too small, which was my complaint about my old one. Glad that it is solar powered, as I probably won't need to replace it for a very long time, if ever. Reasonably priced, too.

I needed to replace the solar calculator that I bought a decade ago from the dollar store. The keys were starting to stick and I decided to shop for a replacement on Amazon. I found this calculator and because of the excellent price, I decided to buy one. I am very happy with the quality and functionality of the unit. If you're in need of a calculator for general use I highly recommend this one.

the price is inexpensive. item is small. not exactly what i want in a calculator, but what i do want is costly, it does, however, work and you can't beat the price. i don;t like solar, but it is what it is. i would prefer different locations for certain key features. but like i said, if you need something to get a small job done, this is it. the buttons are decent size for my sausage fingers. a reason why i don;t use my phone calculator. so, as i said, small, cheap, and works for small add/subtract/division.
