I love the color. I have several Iroshiruku such as Kon Peki and Shin Kai. To me this is better on paper compared to the other two. I can't stop using it since I added it to my collection of blue inks. I use it primarily on cheap paper and it does not feather. Ink flow has been sufficient without any issues on Pilot 91 MF nib so far.

I haven’t touched a blue ink since high school, which is more than 10years ago. Actually, I didn’t even use blue inks very much then.Recently I bought a 2nd hand fountain pen & got a sample of this,Asa Gao, along with Kon-Peki. I will be honest & say I was pleasantly surprised.I knew of Kon-Peki & its popularity in the fountain pen community but I was never interested in trying it or any other blue inks. I suppose I should thank the seller for including those samples & giving me my first taste of blue inks in years.What can I say, I am now a bandwagonist for Asa-Gao…& Kon-Peki…if only Amazon delivery didnt break my bottle & cancel my order, I’d have had it here by now.I’m happy to find 1 blue ink that I can tolerate. They’re vibrant but not overwhelming on the eyes. Lubricated so they flow well from a pen. Dry quickly. Great price here on Amazon. I need not look any further for any other blue inks! I have all I need right here.

Best ink ever! Beautiful, rich color that flows cleanly through whatever pen I'm using. The price is reasonable for the amount you get, and the bottle is gorgeous, to boot.

It took me approximately five years, but I finally finished a bottle of this ink and had to buy a new one. The color of Asa-Gao is a lovely medium-to-deep blue which looks lighter in the sunlight than it does by lamplight. It works well with thicker paper, such as in good-quality journals and stationary. However, it tends to show through thinner paper so I wouldn't advise it for use with standard notebook paper.

Best ink for my fountain pens

This is a very wet ink so it works best in pens with F or EF nibs, but dries relatively quickly for such a wet ink. Great value for what it costs, and such a great color.
