Quick, and efficent. Worked excellent on a black BMW with lots of front-end and hood hard-water spots (to paint, chrome, glass).
Excellent product. I live in Florida, where lawn sprinkler systems are common. I had started parking in a new spot at my moms, and the hood, front bumper, new/upgrades headlights, and driver side bumper were getting sprayed by one of her sprinklers. Every time I washed my car and hand dried, it looked OK, but as soon as the car dried the hood (especially) looked horrible, clouded, and old. The heat had baked in the hard water (my first time experiencing this).I have a black BMW and everything little thing shows. I thought I would need to have my car stripped or painted, until I researched online and found out about this product. I was a little skeptical and worried that I would damage my car, because fixing significant damage would have been expensive. I watched several online videos demonstrating detailers using this on cars with significant hard-water spots. There are many videos out there that show how to use this properly and quickly, which gave me more confidence in trying this myself, and less fear that I would ruin the paint or the new headlights on my car.Nonetheless, I USED AS DIRECTED (working in small areas, using a back and forth motion (not circular) and spraying a waterless car wash to wipe off the eraser, when the time was up). II kept track of my time with the timer on my mobile phone, too. I was lucky, I only used this product ONCE and it removed all the hard water spots from the paint, new headlights, chrome on the grill, everything. It also only took a small amount to do so many spotted surfaces. I also exerted some pressure when rubbing in the gel, which could might have been why it took me only one time to remove all the spots and white rings.I appreciate that this product was in a gel form, rather than a liquid spray. That gave me more control over how much (and where) I was applying it, and I didn't have to be concerned that I had accidently sprayed an area I didn't intend. I highly recommend using a waterless car wash or spray bottle of filtered water when using this product. I think that using a hose would probably have taken longer, I wouldn’t have been sure if any of the gel had run off onto something else, and I might not have had the great results that I did. I also used a wax/top coat hybrid after the water spots had been removed, and my car looks shiny and new! From start to finish (including waxing my car after using the Eraser), only took about 25-30 minutes of my time. The cost of this product is very low, and I saved spending a ton of money at a detailer, or worst-case scenario (the dealer). Highly recommend and I’m even going to use this product on my mom’s outer sunroom windows that have been look awful, due to being hit by her water sprinklers.

Do waste your time
This product arrived in a broken top. Bottle so I don't know if this had something to do with the product not working. I applied it twice like the instructions said but it does not work. Unfortunately I waited to long to try and return it.

Work in the shade and on cool windows or paint
A few days ago I made the mistake of washing my car when the sun was beaming right on it. I ended up getting hard water spots on driver side windows. They would not come off with glass cleaner so I mixed 50/50 water and white distilled vinegar and sprayed it on the windows. With a little elbow grease and a microfiber towel, a majority of the hard water spots were removed. My next goal was to remove the spots that the vinegar solution could not take off. The Eraser came in today and I read the instructions and watched the YouTube instructional video. I wiped the Eraser on with a microfiber sponge and give it a quick scrub. The next immediate step was removing the product with a wet wash cloth making sure I kept the rinse bucket near by. It was literally wipe on and then wipe off. I did NOT let the product sit and made sure it was completely off of the windows. Once the windows dried, the light hard water spots were gone. The product works. I only gave it 4 stars because it worked on light hard water spots. I have yet to try it on heavy spots. Just be sensible about the product. Work in the shade and on cool windows or paint. Follow instructions and you should be fine.

Worked for me and saved my paint, spots rub off easily, great product!
I wasn't sure if this was going to work, could be a hit or miss but I made the purchase to try it out in hopes that it would solve my problem. I've never experienced hard water spots on my car before and didn't know that the area I parked in at my condo would be attacked by sprinklers. Before realizing what those spots were, I thought a car wash would wash them off. I was pretty upset afterwards because a car wash couldn't remove the spots. The spots were all over the front of my car and even worse, my windshield, it looked terrible. Oh and what's even worse than that? Well I recently got a factory paint job on the front of my car, not cool at all. After finding out what it was, I tried vinegar and water, then full on vinegar as suggested and it did nothing. The spots were on my car for less than a week and still so hard to remove though I've read that it has something to do with the sun cooking it into the paint, but still. I looked up numerous products that were made for hard water spots and settled with this and I couldn't be happier. I had that "whatever" feeling at first because I didn't think it would work since there's plenty of 1 star reviews.I decided to try it out early in the morning when the weather was still cool and the sun had yet to reach my car. I dabbed a small area on the hood and then lightly rubbed it off with a microfiber towel and the spots vanished, it was so easy to remove and here I was before thinking that the paint was damaged forever. I did get a little bit of this stuff on the side of my window though and I had trouble getting it off so I didn't test this out on the windshield since I purchased a product before this one that was made for glass. I am overall happy that this was able to remove the hard water spots off my car's paint.
