I bought you the plans for a rooltop desk # 151 and now that I was ready to make it I found that the plans are confusing and lacking in details such as making drawers and handles. I did not find plans for jigs and fixtures that you advertise. For to save your money the cutting templates are superimposed in one blueprint with the plans of the furniture which means difficulty to transfer them to the wood. The photographs and indications of the booklet are photocopies without any details and are very general explanations, except for the manufacture of tambour as it are photographs of the Amana factory. In short, I feel cheated and I do not think that a booklet like this is a detailed instruction and neither a confusing blueprint has everything you offer in advertising. The plans are for the most part ok. one detail left out. When you glue the wood strips to the cloth to make the tambour they cannot be too close together so the reverse bend will work.I had to take all the wood strips off the cloth and start over because it was too stiff to slide. The desk bottom was easy and looks great. one thing...all the pretty panels are hidden because I had to put my desk in a corner between a wall and entertainment center. My wife loves her new desk.

The measurements for the drawing do not match the directions. You need to add or subtract for allowances. I have made furniture for 30 yrs, and I have spent hours trying to figure these measurements out. There is a lot of missing measurements and information. The direction book measurements do not seem to be the same as the drawing. I WOULD NOT RECOMENND THIS

Requires a speciality tool that my husband does not have and it is kind of expensive for just a single project. Maybe we can make two and sell the second to help offset the costs.

Excellent Plans Easy To Follow. Easy To Read

I can't believe they sell this plan. It is one of the worst drawings I have seen. The person that drew it couldn't have had any training in drawing plans. The dimensions don't add up across the width, some are very poorly labeled. You can't use a scale to measure because lines are not accurate. The assembly directions are very poor black and white photos. A decent draftsman would not have a problem drawing an accurate drawing that would be very easy to use. I spent hours trying to figure out what dimension things were meant to be, very confusing. I am not an amateur woodworker, I worked at a custom cabinet shop in the past and have made numerous large projects.
