Q: Why does this cost $12 at Home Depot and lowe's and $43 here?

Just checked this out ... With Lowe's: 2 bags at $19=$38 Shipping $84 (not available in store) With Home Depot 2 bags @ $17 = $34 271 bags available in the store 20 minutes from me So for 40 minutes of driving I can buy 2 bags at Home Depot for the price of 1 bag on Amazon.

Q: I mowed my lawn and applied the product. How long do I have to wait before I am able to cut my grass again? It doesn't say.

You only cut 1/3 of the grass. The perfect cut is between 3-4" tall. When you see the crown or tip of the grass bending is time to cut it. Use the 2/3 rule. Watch lawn care nut in YouTube or gci also. You will learn a lot. Remember grass leaves are like solar panels

Q: I lived in north california inland. it is hot and dry in summer. Can I apply it in Summer?

Yes, this is an organic fertilizaer and it won't burn your grass. You can't fertilize your lawn with synthetic fertilizers as they are sodium based products which burn the grass due to the salt. Milorganite is basically feces and will not harm your lawn when used in the summer. I use this with alfalfa meal (rabbit food/iguana bedding @15lbs per 1000 ft) and have outstanding results in the summer. Make sure to water at least an inch after application (if it hasn't rained within a week) to help breakdown the fertilizers. Enjoy!

Yes. It is exactly the same product. Home Depot does run out of it every Spring. It works slowly to give you a green lawn without all the chemicals. You won't have to worry about burning your lawn. Totally organic. It does have an unpleasant smell to it at first, because it is made from treated sewerage. I just wish Amazon could match their price.
