Q: how deep are the pockets? I've seen that it's not deep enough and awkward but also seen reviews that say they love the pockets

The potholder is 10” x 7”. The pocket is 7-1/2”.

Q: For seller: a red version is displayed in my search results, but when I click it that is not an option—when do you expect red back in stock?

Q: Are these comparable to the "Ove Glove?" Better or worse?

I don't have a Ove Glove. I do have a silicone glove which I like for reaching further back in the oven. I use these much more than I used my old pot holders because they are thicker and have a better grip.
