Q: I purchased this recently. When I lock the handle with the latch, after sometime it is becomes loose. Again when I lock it loosens. Pl give suggestion

I have two of them installed in my shower stall for my 91 year old mother in law. I check them frequently and do find sometime one side has come loose. I reset it and they're good again. I have 6x6 tiles on the walls. The cups fit perfectly on center of the tiles creating a good bond. I've tried leaning on them to see how good they hold (180 lbs). They hold. Your problem might be the surface your trying to put them on. Any gaps under the cups will allow air to penetrate loosing the suction of the cups.

Q: Could this be used on a wall or fiberglass tub?

Yes. It is not as stable as a bar that is screwed into the wall. It works but does have the potential to slip.

Q: Could this be used as a towel bar?

No.....maybe a small hand towel...but suctioning is not very good.......would not recommend

Q: I received mine today and it is not white like the others i bought. It has a light violet tint to it.

I would return it and find a more suitable color. If you have to look at it a thousand times, choose a color that pleases you better.
