Fuel Non Return One Way Check Valve Petrol Diesel Aluminium Alloy

Installed this on my 67 Chevelle SS fuel line. I was having an issue with the fuel draining back into the tank after about three days of sitting. I have a mechanical fuel pump and it was taking approximately 10 seconds to pump the fuel to my Edelbrock 750 before starting. After installing this check valve 8” from the carborator inlet, the motor starts up within a couple of seconds. Easy to install. Make sure the arrow is pointed in the same direction as the fuel flow. Does not include hose clamps. Seems like a quality part.

This was perfect for an in-line check to keep fuel lines from draining. Allows easier restarts on my outboard boat motor.

I disassembled before installing. It is a simple rubber/plastic cage and spring assembly. It works in my supercharger application (6psi) so far. I bought a spare just in case ;-)

Installed this on a 95 jeep with small block Chevy dropped in it. If it set more than a day fuel would drain back to the tank. And you would almost run the battery down cranking on it before it would finally start. Put 3 different fuel pumps on it Didn't help. Installed the valve about a foot from the carb ,get in pump the pedal 3 times starts right up even after sitting a month . Highly recommend valve !

This check valve did NOT hold pressure, leaked by from the start, then failed completely! Upon disassembly I discovered the disc was a thin, flexible, piece of rubber which had folded up and lodged itself in the nipple of the valve body. As a US Dept of Labor, Certified, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic and another 20 years as a Submarine Machinist Mate having first hand experience, I can tell you this is the cheapest and most useless valve I have ever seen.

This item works as described and is sturdier than plastic versions....don't forget to buy clamps.
