It provides the grip you need, but it also feels good in your hand, without it getting cold while scooping.The scoop is nice and wide and seems to cut through the ice cream easier than the standard ice cream scoop.For kitchen tools like these, I want them to last, so generally, I hand wash them instead of running them through the dishwasher - even though they state dishwasher safe - especially since this is so easy to clean!I’ve been very happy with this purchase.

No bending, no cracking, no screaming into the freezer while your dessert remains a dairy boulder.The handle is super comfy—like it’s gently encouraging me to go back for a second (or fifth) scoop. Works just as well on cookie dough and sorbet, though let’s be honest: it’s mostly been on a first-name basis with Ben & Jerry.Honestly, if this scoop ran for president, I’d vote for it. Get one. A great ice cream scooper with a rubber grip. This feels heavy-duty - I cannot see it ever bending or breaking. Rinses clean and is also dishwasher safe.

Beautiful scooper - goes nicely with my kitchen color scheme! Nice grip on the handle and it indeed scoops well. I bought it two years ago and have used it frequently. I don't own a dishwasher, so it's always been hand washed. It recently developed a couple of small "pits' on the back of the scoop that are a bit sharp. For the price, I will probably order a new one - two years at that price is better than a similarly priced grocery store model.

The handle is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably and securely in your hand. The scoop design works extremely well in scooping the ice cream and separating. The scoop head is made of shiny metal and looks very nice. The price was very reasonable, about one third of store prices. I highly recommend this scooper. We loved it so much, we bought a second one so both our grandkids can scoop together!

I bought a very expensive ice cream scoop on Amazon, and thought that nothing could live up to it. I was wrong. This scoop is equally as good as the expensive one. It cuts through hard frozen ice cream with very little effort. Great purchase!
