Price is Right and the quality even better.
This is the third time I have purchased this float switch to install on new set ups. They are easy to install and are dependable. The price is definitely fair. The quality is as good as any other top brand. Over all just a good float switch that you can trust to work when the HVAC unit backs up with water. This will shut the unit off. I highly recommend

Relieved, this worked!
After paying an HVAC repairman ($99) to tell me that the stim was broken on the flow switch, $13 for this item was a bargain, so I purchased two. Snapped the electrical part in and the cool air started flowing again. Unbelievable, for 10 years, I've been flushing bleach in the trap to kill any mildew and mold buildup and I never knew that this trap could shut down a $10K system or start it back up. Yes, I recommend this item.

Nice product.
As advertised. The actual switch is a SPDT, but the pigtail is wired only for one side of the switch that is NC until the float is raised. I installed another wire and wired the NC portion to pass the Rc lead, and the NO to complete a circuit to a warning light and alarm (using the COMMON (blue or black wire)). The light I used is also available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014CV88M4/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_16.If the condensate overflow triggers the switch, the AC unit shuts down and the alarm/light sounds.
