Portable 6 Quart Set & Forget Digital Programmable Slow Cooker with Lid Lock, Temperature Probe, Dishwasher Safe Crock & Lid, Stainless Steel (33969A)

We had to replace our very old crockpot when the knob broke off. That one had an autoshift mode that made day long cooking a breeze. This goes beyond that with the thermometer. We tried a 6 lb turkey breast with the probe and it worked perfectly. It went to warm once it was done. No work required other than take it out and eat it. It was easy to use and cleanup. It has other features for timed cooking as well. This a larger unit. It's perfect for chili and many other items. The lid look is a nice feature when transporting it and simply to keep it tightly closed when cooking. The lift out crock makes cleanup easy. We were nervous that this would not perform like our 30 year old crock pot but this blew it away.

Simple to use with electronic control panel. Takes a few minutes to heat up, even on high. Otherwise works well with even cooking and cooking within appropriate timeframe. Love the locking lid. Easy to transport now, fewer spills. Easy to clean. Haven’t used probe yet but is definitely an advantage I plan to use in the future.

I've used this several times now. It works great. Its my second one and is a newer model than my old one. I still have my old one and it works great but after my husband dropped it, the electric display doesn't work right so you can't really tell the exact time that is programmed in the old one and that's thw only reason I got a new one (my old one is 10 years old). I love my new one and that im able to program it and walk away and know it will kick down to a warm setting after cooking. I do think it runs hotter than my old one but have not had any issues with it affecting the cooking. Love that I can lock the lid down for traveling with no spills.

I liked the sturdiness of this crockpot. The roast I cooked was so soft. I can cut the mest with a fork. The candy I made was easy. Melt and mix ingredients right in the pot.

I cooked Ragu for 20 and it worked great. Beware the LOW setting means LOW, after 2 hrs my meat was only grey, had to turn to high for another 4 hrs for fall off bone. Have not used the meat thermometer yet, but like that function. It's big, cleans up easily, very easy to use and I really like the travel handles. Now I want a smaller one as well.

I bought the same cooker several years ago and it didn't work after 1 cook,I called Hamilton beach and they sent a new one. This is a newer version but its awesome. It stands out bc of the probe. Takes all the guess work out of meat times cooking.

The locking lid is by far my favorite feature, prevents spills when delivering my pot roast over to the family dinner in thanksgiving traffic. Thermometer reader works perfectly, no more overcooking delicates. Easy to clean, stainless steel keeps it looking slick

Love this Slow cooker! I've been needing a programmable slow cooker that auto-switches to warm. I used to set my old one to low and burn food because I would only come home 9.5 hours after starting it! This slow cooker's auto-warm function is amazing! Thank you Hamilton Beach! Also- haven't tried the probe cook option yet, but know that we'll love it as my husband hunts wild game and we need to make sure that the meat is cooked to a very specific temperature before eating. No complaints at all- great slow cooker.
