The best release device I ever owned! Been using it for drone fishing and ham-radio antennas deployment on trees and this is a winner. Tried some other cheap devices out there (and some that claim to be pro) but this is by far the best release device I’ve owned. It fits the Mavic perfectly and locks into place easily and securely. No need for any change to the drone and it attaches in a unique way that does not require any tool. This device offers two ways to release the payload, both are working simultaneously, you can use the drone’s front lights (worked every time even on very sunny days) or spin your drone 2 left turns to drop, and since you activate the drop from your drone’s remote controller, there are no range limit issues like in other devices. The device LED blinks to let you know the battery capacity at all times which is great when out in the field for a long day, and best of all it charges from any USB and you get a way sufficient charge in just 20 minutes. Attaching the fishing line and bait is super easy and done by one hand, you just hang the line loop over the device hook, while the drone is hovering, and you’re ready, no need to use the remote to lock and hold the line, very important when fishing alone. Very pleased with it, definitely worth every penny! I recommend buying it.

Estimated shipping was about a month, got it in week. Attaches very easily, in seconds. It’s a little tricky to get it to release, clicking the front lights on and off a few times drops it, nearly impossible to release accidentaly. Although, you can not be recording and cycle the lights on and off, if your live streaming it will record while cycling the lights. Very light weight and seems to have long battery life. One thing to remember, don’t forget to turn it on before take off!!! It is very difficult to decend with a parachute man on a fishing string!! You will get the string tangled up in the prop, and if your lucky, the string will break and not your Mavic!! I have done about 20 drops and all seems good.

I took it out of the box and put it back as fast as possible... this is fragile... very fragile...

Feels very durable, I’m impressed with the way it connects to the drone, nice thinking. Watch the videos, easy setup instructions and straight forward operation. Did several runs with it, using different payloads, worked every time.
