How could I ever get by without one?
I got my Triby last night and I really like it.Pro:- magnetic back, so it happily sits on my fridge and is not another gadget taking space in my kitchen.- phone buttons. I don't have a landline anymore, so this is a great backup if my kids want to call me.- radio buttons. I love listening to a certain web radio station and its so great that now I just have to push a single button. No more finding my phone, unlocking it, scrolling to find the web radio app, yadayadayada- note screen. My kids and I had a blast sending us little notes back and forth! And the little flag coming out when there is a new note is so cool! Very retro ;-)- Alexa integration. 'nuff said.- Sound is totally adequate for a kitchen. And much better than my phone speaker.Cons:- Triby doesn't seem to be as sensitive to the 'Alexa' wake word as the Dot or the Echo. I have to stand quite close for it to pick it up consistently.

Great - (Updated)
Update 6/22/2016 -- Invoxia followed up and was able to deliver a firmware that fixed all the issues with the speaker phone, sound quality is excellent. Invoxia seemed dedicated and focused on delivering a great customer experience. With my problem fixed, I couldn't be happier with the Triby and my Mom is sure to love it.Bought a Triby for Mom for mothers day. Setup was great and the Triby works fantastic for the most part. Bought it primarily as a portable speakerphone, and for Alexa and Internet Radio functions secondarily. It does great for everything except the speakerphone. Streaming audio functions perfectly (over bt/A2DP) Internet radio works perfect, Alexa works 'ok' - but I had read enough other reviews to understand this was not an 'Echo' and the sound quality generally sounds really good. However, the call quality for the speaker phone (HS/HFF) is unusable, it stutters, artifacts, and otherwise is generally unintelligible. I tried pairing several different phones and across all of them got poor audio quality on both sides of the speakerphone. Have tried rebooting, updating firmware (there was no update available). I have reached out to Invoxia for support and pending the outcome of that I would love to be able to uprate this product. If the speaker phone worked even as well as a $20 bluetooth speaker this would easily be a 4.5 star product.

Not for me
It kept freezing up, speaker wasn't that great, wanted it so my kids could call me, or I could call them and it worked about 25% of the time. Just didn't do enough for the price. I am hopeful my Alexa can make calls soon.

Not worth the money.
I really wanted to like this product, it was cute and different from the Echo but still interacted with Alexa. Overall though, I've just been disappointed with it. You can't use all of the Alexa functions (anything involving smart home control won't work unless it was set up with an Echo first) and the triby app for Android is still half-baked despite many updates. It has basically become just another bluetooth speaker but today I discovered that the LCD screen is broken. I purchased this back on May 6th so it's lasted less than 4 months. For $200, I expect a lot more.

I am totally disappointed with the "Triby"
I am totally disappointed with the "Triby". The main complaint is that it only holds a charge for two days. This is not acceptable for a gaget that adheres to my refrigerator. I would not recommend it to most people. It would be acceptable for children, at $169 it is expensive for the functions it provides. I bought the "Echo" for $180 in December 2015. I was so impressed with it, I bought the "Dot" for $90 in March 2016. Having such a good experience with these two excellant products, I purchased the "Triby" for $169 in May 2016. Again, the "Triby" is not something I, in good conscience, would recommend. I'm sorry. Again, I LOVE the ECHO and DOT!
