I absolutely love all of my products that I buy from Beadnova! With today's technology being able to buy quality beautiful beads online has really saved my life! As someone who is chronically ill I don't have the ability to go to stores and go shopping and spend hours looking at beads like I used to. Beadnova has totally saved me on multiple occasions! I have purchased these beads from Beadnova several times and am always pleased with the quality of their products. The colors are bright, vivid, and rarely is there a broken or poor quality bead. The 6mm size is perfect for the beadwork crafts I do. The beads come separated in plastic container and I always save these containers because they come in handy for so many other things.

I ordered these beads for two reasons. One, to see if what kind of quality in their product Beadnova offers. Two, to see if these beads are plastic as some claim or if they are glass. I received the items in good condition; all the beads in a segmented plastic case with no cracks in the case and no beads out of place. I counted the beads and had three different colors missing one bead (no big deal), and I found one slightly broken bead. I randomly tested about thirty beads for hole alignment issues (inserted head pin and see if it sits straight) and found all the ones I tested to be perfectly centered drilled. To test to see if they were glass, I did two tests: smashing and burning. I took a one bead and smashed it hard with a hammer in a single blow. If the beads where glass, the blow would cause the bead to turn into somewhat of a fine powder with very few chunks of bead left. And that is exactly what I got. If it was plastic, it would be larger shards with no fine powder remains. Then I took another random bead and put it over direct flame. If the bead was glass, it would not melt nor produce any fumes or smells. And that is exactly what I got. The bead was hot to the touch and maintained it's shape while still hot, indicating to me that it made of glass. Plastic beads will melt or be very soft to touch within moments of direct heat contact. That didn't happen with these beads.Looking at all the beads, I am very satisfied with the overall quality of these beads for the price I paid for. These beads are NOT meant to make fine jewelry but rather every day wear jewelry that has a bit of sparkle and color. The very much closely resemble Czech Fire Polished Glass beads with the same shine and durability. I am definitely going to be buying from Beadnova again.

I just received these after ordering for a project I am doing. I researched these extensively because I have never ordered beads online before. The beads are very nice, they are smaller than I thought but that is no big deal. The colors are very pretty and the beads were all in their place. A little spendy, but for the quality I would definitely order from Beadnova again.

There are many wonderful things about this set. First, the beads are lovely, true to size, in a wide variety of colors with a very serviceable divided box, at a great price. My only disappointment is with some of the colors. The Amethyst is so dark it looks more like a smokey grey than a purple. The Topaz is a pale yellow that lacks richness. And the Emerald has too many blue tones to be a true "emerald green". The Incolite is also more of a true teal, lacking the smokey tones in the picture.

The box is sturdy and clasps well, the beads are sparkly especially the lighter shades such as the crystal, black diamond, peridot, light rose and light sapphire. In fact, I blended the aforementioned lighter shades with Swarvoski crystals & Czech fire beads and the Beadnova beads from this mix fit in superbly!!! Others didn't realize that they "didn't belong" :)

I bought this specifically for a class I was taking that required 6mm rondelle beads, but upon receiving it, I was frustrated to see that they are NOT 6mm, but 4mm. Even the box says 4mm. I had to scramble (and pay boutique prices) to get the larger ones I needed for my class, which I was not happy about. They are pretty nice though, and I know I'll find another project to use them in. The 3-star is because they are not advertised/labeled correctly. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

I get worried when ordering beads without seeing them but theses came in a nice package and were very sparkly. I took them out in the sun and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of sparkle! I will be buying them again. One request is a 10mm bead, I Love the 8mm I got but a size up would be awesome!
