For some reason, the tension in the seatbelt in the used car I got last year is SO strong! (Of course, that's only in the driver's seat...) A few years ago I was in an accident and have back/neck issues.... So a couple months ago I wasn't completely surprised to have strained a muscle across my clavicle... and then 2 days later couldn't move my head! My chiropractor narrowed it down to the possibility of the pressure from the seatbelt! I already use one of those lap things that adjusts the angle of the shoulder harness, but that wasn't relieving the tension any. I even went to my dealership to see about getting it adjusted, but they told me they couldn't just adjust the seatbelt- they'd have to replace the whole mechanism for about $450! So let me tell you, this $10 little clip has been a GodSend! I can't believe how much better I feel when I clip that on to my shoulder harness to stop it from pulling at me! It's easy to use and small enough to put out of the way.[my only wonder is how it behaves in an accident? I don't know if it would cause any issues with the seatbelt retraction during a collision? I don't think so- I mean it's strong enough to hold the belt, but I don't think it's so strong that the seatbelt couldn't retract during impact]. I love this thing- nuff said!

Bought this to be able to hold my seatbelt out so it would prevent it from riding across my neck. While I did have to keep adjusting it because the rubber on the inside of the clip wasn’t enough to keep the belt extended, I felt that this was going to be something I could work with. Until I went to adjust it one more time and the clip broke apart in my hand. So I used the second one, and that lasted less than a day. Buyer beware. Cheap plastic parts are what makes this thing fall apart on ya quick.

Easy to use, especially since I have arthritis in my hands. It makes the seat belt more comfortable; no longer goes across my neck.

I love these things. I'm short and the seatbelt in my car cuts my neck and has started inching tighter the longer I drive so that I have to unlock the seatbelt and belt it again to loosen it. This clip now sits in my car door. I can get in, put the seatbelt on, and put the clip on to keep it in a comfortable position. Extra helpful on long trips.

I’ve been using this product for years now, and the day I discovered them I felt I’d won the lottery. I had tried many other products, as well as a few of my own invention. My MacGyver skills are sorely lacking and none has worked as well and been as indestructible add these. I’ve never had one break. (I use it above my shoulder to keep the belt from irritating my neck.) I have purchased extras to have on standby because my husband doesn’t use it and will remove it and sometimes it falls under the car seat. I never again want to ride in a car without my “clippy thing.”

it broke from clipping to something about a finger thickness and being left for a day, it works alright but poor durability.
