This is a great loupe for the entire family. Had fun times trapping a household spider inside and let my kid observe it close. Helped a lot at few occasions to have fun as well. Big hit with kids.The build quality is good too.

The physical structure of this magnifier and ones like it are crucial to how these work, their design purpose and limitations.Indeed these will give you the magnifications at the levels claimed however, these cup shape magnifiers are designed to magnify only in 2 dimensions. Sounds weird and perhaps not technically true but I'll explain.What ever you want to see close up or magnify - must be on a flat surface. For example a bank note on a coffee table. By placing the cup shaped magnifier's bigger opening flat on top of the bank note flat on the table and bringing your eye to the eye-piece, you get to see the magic of magnification.Lif the magnifier a millimeter away from the bank note and you will lose focus. I guess what I mean by not a 3D magnifier is that it doesn't have much of a field of depth. About + or - 2mm at best... So looking at a 3D object, you get that 'bokeh' effect that would be desirable in sharp portrait photographs against industrial blurred background but not what you want when you inspect objects close up.Strictly speaking, you could inspect different depths of a 3D object like a gold ring by holding the magnifier to your eye and bringing the ring close up to the magnifier, then you're limited to the 43mm diameter of the magnifier cup cylinder as anything much bigger than a ring will not fit inside the cup for different depths to be viewed.Perfect if you want to see finer details of prints and other artifacts on flat objects, for example magnifies pixels on your LCD screen so you can see individual RGB leds that make up each pixel.

Ich habe 50 Jahre alte Dia-Schätze aus meiner Kindheit ausgegraben, die ich nun Einscannen möchte.Zum vorherigen Betrachten habe ich mir diese Standlupe gekauft, obwohl teilweise die Meinungen für diesen Verwendungszweck auseinandergehen.Die beigefügte Strichplatte brauche ich in diesem Fall natürlich nicht, aber vielleicht kommt zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt noch eine andere Einsatzmöglichkeit in Betracht.Ich halte die Dias zusammen mit der Lupe in Richtung meiner Schreibtischlampe und kann diese dann exzellent betrachten. Vor allem geht es mir darum festzustellen, ob die Dias sauber sind damit ich dem Scanner keinen unnötigen Schmutz zu führe. Toll ist die Lupe auch, um selbst kleinste Details des Bildes in Ruhe anzuschauen.FAZIT: Ich kann diese Standlupe empfehlen!Falls Ihnen diese Information geholfen hat freue ich mich sehr über eine „nützliche Wertung“. Warum? Die 10-fache Verrößerung ist in Ordnung, aber die Auflösung von gerade einmal 1 mm bei der Längenskale ist doch recht dürftig. Wenn man etwas tiefer in die Tasche greift, bietet der Markt Auflösungen von 1/10 mm. Positiv ist, daß man kleine Winkel mit einer Auflösung von 5° bestimmen kann, auch kleine Krümmungsradien lassen sich mit der Lupe ermitteln. Als Kombigerät durchaus gut zu gebrauchen.

Útil sin duda, pero considero que es una lente cara dada su construcción, no viene con estuche para guardarla o protegerla.
