Awesome quality, fit and style. The only thing I'd change is to add a liner. I had to purchase the quick-dry spandex undershorts to wear with it.

I fell in live with Maui Rippers about 4 years ago when we moved into a house with a pool and then replace that pool with an ungrounds pool. Love, love, love them. This year I started running and list enough weight to get back into a 34 so I bought these bright red trunks and they fit fantastic. Just wish Amazon carried more styles of the Rippers.

I like these as they are a little bit longer in the inseam than what you see in the store. They are extremely comfortable and I have no problem being in them all day long.

I've purchased this item three years ago size 30. Those boardshorts were made with microfiber and have lasted me through three seasons as a lifeguard. This new ones I've got are made of regular polyester, not the microfiber type. The fit on this new ones runs a little small. I know I can return them for a 31, but I'll keep them. I much prefer the way the old ones were made, they are much stronger made for lifeguards. These new ones are thinner, though very well made. Thinking next year of going back to my birdwells.

Great looking pair of trunks. Only issue is it doesn't have a lining.Also if you don't want the "lifeguard" patch on it make sure you also include a note when ordering.I checked off "no patch" and mine still came with the patch. Lucky for me it came off pretty easilyand did not leave any mark.
