I AM A LATE NEWCOMER TO THE STEVE MILLER BAND.ALTHOUGH I AM A 1970S NUT FOR MUSIC I MISSED THIS BAND.WELL I BOUGHT THIS 1977 RECORDING OUT OF INTEREST,AND WOW WHAT A PERFORMANCE.THE TAPES HAVE BEEN OVERSEEN BY STEVE MILLER.FROM NOW ON I WILL BACK CATOLOGUE THIS BANDS PAST RECORDINGS.I GIVE THE AUDIO 9/10 THE PEFORMANCE 10/10.THIS IS A BLEND OF POP MUSIC WITH A BITE FOR OUT THERE GUITAR PLAYING.LETS HAVE MORE OF THIS STUFF FOR MUSOS LIKE ME TO ENJOY.

I'm always suspicious of a lot of these 1970's 'live' cash-ins of supposed 'legendary' concerts. But this one's the 'real deal'. It really sounds fresh and bounces out of the speakers. An essential addition to any Steve Miller collection.

The album captures a classic performance from a classic period for the band. A great addition for any fan.

only ordered it sunday,got it today-tuesday ,well pleased with delilivery and the cd is brilliant -cant beat a bit of steve miller ,the joker live untouchable.

I've got some great live Steve Miller and this is up there with the best of them. The band are on top form, with a great set list to boot. Sound quality is also superb. Don't miss this one if you're a Steve Miller fan.

A genuine find from the archives this is A Classic Live Album From the Steve Miller Band in their prime. This is the band as big as it would be – late 70s, all the hits lined up and ready to smash out and still creating new works. Right up there with the established live classics (Frampton, UFO, Lizzy etc).
