Joseph Joseph Plastic Slim Compact Soap Dispenser, Grey, 12.3 fluid ounces

The concept of this dispenser is good, but the execution is poor.First of all, it's really difficult to find the sweet spot on top of the dispenser to enable the soap top come out.You have to press the top at the back so that it works.When the soap does eventually come out, you get pea size amount for each press, so this means that you have to press down a few times to get enough soap.The dispenser also drops a lot and leaves a messy trail down the front...not nice.My verdict - more style rather than substance

Really annoyed because it's not as described and it's such a waste of my time returning products. I bought the JJ toothbrush holder last week which is great and bought the soap dispenser to match but no, the soap dispenser has the logo in grey on the front. In all the pictures on the Amazon advert and all the customers pictures there's no logo. On my toothbrush holder there's a white almost invisible logo but on my soap dispenser there it is in grey! Is it too much to ask for that I receive what is shown in the picture? Grrr! I will be returning it.

This is a lovely looking dispenser, well designed and looks great in my bathroom, but as other reviewers have mentioned the dispensing mechanism requires improvement. It only really works if you press the top of the dispenser right at the very back, on the top. If you press it more towards the front, you get nothing out of the nozzle at all, or just a dribble. It is also quite hard to remove the lid to refill.The packaging was not great either, as it was stuck to the side of the dispenser with an odd plastic glue. Once the packaging was removed, the glue left a horrible mark on the side of the dispenser, which will not shift (have already tried two different cleaning products on it), so it now has a grey-ish mark on the side that won't clean off.With all that in mind, as the sole purpose of this item is to dispense handwash, it's actually not really fit for purpose and the packaging basically ruined the finish on the item.

I love this dispenser and it’s minimalist design. I have also purchased the soap dish and organisers as well. All together, it’s not cheap but the design and functionality is spot on. However..... extremely frustrated with the packaging glue. On each of these products the glue that attaches the cardboard is a nightmare to remove ( see pic) it leaves a residue. On the soap dish I bought, I unfortunately scratched it trying to scrub it off. But apart from that, I do like it.

On first impressions this soap dispenser looks great, nice ability to refill with wide opening and even a window to see the soap level at the back.That’s all I have to say for the pros of this item. Unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros in our opinion.The mechanism to dispense the soap (pushing the coloured grey or blue lever) at the top is far too hard to depress down. You have to press a specific bit at the back, even for adults it’s not a comfortable to use when you have wet hands and trying to get soap dispense.I purchased two of these based on the reviews but as many have said it’s not fit for purpose and I will have to look at buying another 2 to replace these.Do not buy if you want to save your money & effort!
