Lets in far more air than standard fittings
Was trying to remove a stuck head bolt on my car. Even my 3/4" drive socket with an extension handle couldn't budge it. I needed to use my impact wrench, but it didn't budge it either. I realized that it needed more air flow, so I ordered these fittings, installed them on my hose and wrench, and the bolt came right out! I use these on all of my air tools now.

Great price on a great product
This was an order for steel Milton V 1/4" fittings. Note that description was a little confusing, I ordered 1 and received a box of 10. Use with Milton V couplers for very high are flow rates. Note that air hose and regulator have to be capable of high flow rates to see the most benefit.

Nice but
I work with air tools and these fitting are amazing but they wear out a lot faster then the brass fittings. These are aluminum which is cool but I wish they lasted as long as brass fittings. None the less I love the power

Pay attention, these do not fit a standard quick disconnect.
These high flow couplers are all I have used for the last several years. They are very good quality and allow tons of flow with a 3/8 hose. These do not fit standard quick disconnects, you will need to buy the appropriate fitting for them.

Buy these steel plugs - NOT the brass plugs
If you're looking at Milton high flow couplers, you are probably looking at matching Milton high flow plugs. These steel plugs are more expensive, but ultimately worth the money. I included a picture of 10 broken brass plugs that I bought originally. The brass plugs are designed or machined wrong. Either way, they have a built in weak spot that causes the plugs to break extremely easily. (Look for my review of the brass plugs to get the full explanation) These steel plugs do not have the design / machined problem that the brass plugs do - making them much stronger. And to top it off, they're made of steel. Stronger, more durable, and safer all around. If you're looking for Milton high flow plugs to fit their high flow fittings, these steel plugs are the way to go.

Better than typical fittings but smaller internal diameter than aluminum Milton type V
They seem quite durable. The inner diameter of these fittings is just over 0.030" smaller in diameter than the anodized aluminum Milton Type V fittings. These steel type V still have a much larger inner diameter than the other typical industrial or automotive styles. I'm switching my painting hoses over to the Milton aluminum type V and using these for everything else since they seem much more durable than the aluminum fittings.

Well worth switching your connections
These flow much much better than the standard quick disconnect plugs that you get at the hardware store, when you hold them side by side, it is quite obvious why. The standard plugs that you pick up any and everywhere have a very small hole for the air to pass through, whereas the Milton's have a huge pathway for the air, which in turn makes all of your air tools run as if they are on steroids. I highly recommend trying these along with the corresponding Milton Hi-Flo quick disconnect coupling, http://smile.amazon.com/Milton-Industries-S-767-HI-Flo-V-Style/dp/B005IUHVQS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453693277&sr=8-1&keywords=milton+s767 , or you can also get them in a combo pack, http://smile.amazon.com/Milton-S-217-Style-Hi-Flow-Coupler/dp/B001O2ZGQ6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453693378&sr=8-1&keywords=milton+s217 , you will not be disappointed. The only small complaint I have, is that I bought them under the impression that they were made in the USA, but, unfortunately, they are made in Taiwan, which is unfortunate, but I still highly recommend the Milton set, and believe they are by far the best I have ever used.

Worked in shops...nicest fittings I've used.
I set up an air system in my studio for blasting, and spraying, and found these "Hi Flow" fittings by chance. They are spectacular. They ensure that every operation I perform, moves enough air, thanks to their larger opening...but the other thing I love about them, is that they are leak-free, and connect easily, by just pushing them together. No little "helper" moves with the female connector's ring. Just "click" and go. Nicely machined all around, and they are all I use now. Recommend you get lots of extra Male connectors for use in new tools as you buy them...so you don't need to wait to order them.

Love the V Style plugs...
Set my entire shop and all my air tools with the V Style fitting - best way to go in my opinion. Great quality. Steel vs. Brass. Highly recommend.
