I thought my Late 2013 MacBook Pro is dead after it suddenly crashed and stopped booting up. But this little adapter along with an NVME M.2 SSD (I used WD Blue SN570) brought it back to life. Just make sure to use at least macOS Catalina which contains the driver support for NVME SSDs.Installing the ssd with adapter was pretty straightforward. However installing a fresh copy of macOS was not. A bootable USB flash drive will only work if created with a Mac. I had to install macOS as VM on my other windows PC( I tried the alternatives like TransMac, AnyBurn, etc. but failed). So it's advisable to preserve a bootable USB or a recent Time Machine Backup.So happy to revive my MacBook, will use it till Apple Silicon matures with app support and stability.

Works like a CharmThough I have just installed it for a day, I can confirm that throughout the day, there have been no "incidents".Product FIT :The product was a bit different visually then what's in the picture, but I think these after market things are not really consistent. However the Product Fits perfectly to my WD Black & also in the Apple MacBoo Pro 15.4" SSD slot.Product PERFORMANCE:I have purchased WD BLACK - 1TB for my upgrade and the reason for the same was to boost the performance of my Mac to 3times its current peak. However, to my disappointment, the max Read appx 1950MB/s & max Write appx 1750; the performance and consistency is not upto the mark and I may not be able to unlock the drive's true potential. This should be greatly improved to achieve near max performance to match the original product offering of the NVMes/SSDs.Delivery Timelines:I believe Deliveries could be improved greatly. It took about 4 days and more for the product to arrive to me. I would have expected it within a day or 2 max as its delivered by Amazon.Accompanying Tools:I strongly believe, they should have provided with a tool to open your MacBook Pro and to unscrew the SSD from its slot. Its a challenging task and you are absolutely stuck and helpless if you do not have the correct driver. While I did have my drivers, the Bits which were required for the screw of the SSD where a bit confusing and only because of the whole box of bits that I have, I could manage to get it unscrewed in 3hrs ;). Anyhoo, My sincere recommendation to the seller is to include the kit to open MacBook & SSD off its slot. It will make the buyer's life really easy and worry free.Overall great buy!

we have been using this for over 6 months now... no problems at all.works with a WD 500GB M2 SSD and also has worked with a WD240GB

I was able to upgrade my MacBook Air 2017 with 500gb ssd all parts were good.

The connector was packed very nicely so it can be protected against any damage.

Used with Kingston 2000 NVMe SSD.
