I use these to tuck the cords when hanging the string lights on my patio. They work very well and keep the lights from swinging in bad weather. It rains and gets very windy Texas and these have held up well. Very sturdy and a great size for my use. Easy to install

These hooks are very sturdy and useful in different ways. I used them to hang plants on our patio. I also used them to hang our patio lights. It’s a good value for the money.

Easy to install

Does the job well. Used the hangers for string lights and they feel solid so far. The clips are a nice touch that prevent the wires from slipping out if you are adjusting the wire upstream or downstream. If I were to nitpick, some of the clips have a nice spring action while some of them just feel a bit hard to push and bring back into their normal position, but that's a minor gripe. Another minor point would be for the manufacturer to provide instructions in inches rather than metric system so we don't have to use a converter. Also like this is a 20 pack which is a nice middle ground - not like big box home improvement stores where you can either get a single item or a bazillion pack.

Really like the spring catch to keep outdoor light strings and other items from falling out of hook. I would say these are light to medium duty and will bend with heavy pressure. So keep that in mind for your intended use. Worked well for our outdoor light string holding 20-22 feet between these anchor hooks without an issue in heavy winds. Recommend using a screw hook driver tool on drill/impact driver if doing a lot of these hooks - makes it easy.

These things are strong. Screw them into a solid wood and they can do a lot. The locking feature makes it a great choice for outside use, no wind will ever cause anything to come loose.

I bought these to put up my outside Christmas lights and they worked out great. The easiest way I found to install them is to drill a 7/16 hole in the wood first, then screw the hook into the hold by hand. I tried using the included drill "bit" to hold the hook, but it invariably wobbled so badly that I couldn't put the hook in straight. Pre-drilling the 7/16 inch hold made it easy to screw them in by hand, but still tight enough that I didn't have to worry about them coming out. Attaching the lights to the hooks was really quick and easy. I found that adding a loop to the wire keeps the wire from slipping through the hook and sagging. I was able to take my drill up on the ladder with me, drill the hold, screw in the hook, and hang the lights all sequentially--placing 3 hooks before having to get down and move the ladder. I really like these hooks and wish I had bought them earlier. They will save so much time in the coming years.
