It’s a good book to learn the vowels and consonants. It also helps with the pronunciation of each one. I recommend this book if you’re interested in learning Korean.

This is the first resource I’ve used to teach myself Korean. It has a useful introduction and exercises to the use, syllable formation and pronunciation of Hangul with writing exercises and audio to listen to but be careful with batchim - there is no corresponding audio file for that. The rest of the book focuses on basic vocabulary and has writing exercises, translation exercises and corresponding audio files. I found the section on numbers a little too brief and I think there could be more focus on grammar and sentence formation and I noticed some errors in the printing. Overall a good introductory workbook but I’m now moving on to Talk to Me in Korean
