I bought a $130 FIRBIT ARIA scale for my ex girlfriend and ended up with a FITBIT band myself so I could use it. Well that scale sucked (it looked great and it measured just fine but didnt sync to by fitbit after only a week and is way overpriced). Anyways we broke up, she took the scale and I needed replacement so I could see exactly how much post break up weight I was actually gaining (it was only 10 lbs and it was during the holidays so I did pretty good).Anyhow after much research, I got this scale. I got scared it was metric only after I took it out of box, but figured out after reading directions how to change to LBS. It looks amazing and as expensive as the Aria but for a 75% discount.

I bought this scale at full price ($29) because I was looking for a cheap scale that could still read my body fat %. Not only is this scale sleek and lightweight, but it is very easy to program yourself (and others) into. It can hold up to 8 different stored identities, but anyone can use it. I weighed myself on this scale and a friend's $60 body fat reading scale, and they were just a smidgen from being identical, making me trust the readings. My only complaint is that the text is a little small on the screen, but fortunately it stays on the screen until after you step off of it, so I can squat down and read any information I want to clearly. You can also bring it back up by going to your profile for that person if you've installed them. It took me about 2 minutes to program myself into it. Takes 3 triple AAA batteries that aren't included. It's not very tall so my bathroom door doesn't knock it when I open it. Would definitely buy again and already recommended to family members. Looks way more expensive than it is!

I bought the scale for the body fat analysis but 9 out 10 times I get an err2...i.e. it can't provide me the numbers...I wish I had returned within the window..Update 07.31.16: I was contacted by the 1byone via email and they offered a refund or to replace my scale. I was pleasantly surprised that they reached out and what initially started as a subpar experience has become as an excellent showing of premier customer service. I opted to have my scale replaced as I really loved the look of the scale and I am happy to report that the replacement scale is working just find. I am not sure if the original scale was faulty or was damaged somehow in shipping. In either case, the company has made my purchase right and with this type of service, I am willing to purchase any of their products as they just don't boast of high quality products, they stand behind them and will do what it takes to make things right.

I was really excited about this product so I used it immediately when it arrived today. Everything seemed to work at the beginning. Then I discovered two things:1. The unit conversion doesn't work. I've tried pressing the button at the back after waking the unit up as instructed but nothing happened. I've tried this many times now, even varying the length of time I press the button.2. The weight reading is not very consistent. I really don't care if it's only a bit of discrepancy but consecutive readings would differ by as much as 3 Kg!3. I always need to reenter my details (age,height, etc) for the other functions to work. It's supposed to store these information!!!So far I am very disappointed. So disappointed I am writing my first review on an item and it isn't what I was hoping to write about.

Scale does what it is supposed to some of the time... if it can't get a reading on weight within a few seconds, it stops. That is not to say I am loosing weight while standing on the scale, but that the scale while on a hardwood floor has a hard time deciding what to display for a weight. On top of that if if it can't decide whether you are xxx.6 or xxx.8 lbs well then it won't go on to the next screen where it tests body composition.Don't get me wrong, the scale works, but if you are looking for a body composition be prepared to be told your weight a couple times before it will actually test it.

The original one I received, only the weight showed, nothing else it was supposed to do worked.I was contacted by 1byone via email and they wanted to send me a new one. I don't normally do that because I hate having to deal with returns. My expectation is that it works like its supposed to the first time. Quality should be first. I didn't respond at first because I am a busy person but when I did they were very professional and prompt.I will look for other products by this company and will tell of their professionalism.Thank you!

I found this scale to be unreliable. Very disappointed. The scale will randomly click over to kilograms. The weights are not consistent. There was a 4 lbs swing during 1 session of weigh in. I went in several times and received 2 different weights. Reading the scale's body fat and other details were difficult to read. I am purchasing another robust, reliable scale.****************************************************************************************************************************************************************1byone fully refunded my purchase. They apologized for what had happened with their product. They took the initiative to provide the full refund without me reaching out to them. I appreciate their excellent customer service.

Love it. I think the reviews are condescending. I actually READ the instructions. You have to BUY 3 AAA batteries in order for it to operate. I stand on this machine with my socks on and off and it works perfectly fine. I changed the features so that my weight would show on the display in pounds simply by reading the instructions. Great Product. The body fat analysis is spot on. Good Product for a lower price. Just buy it and READ the instructions.
