Just what I needed, holds the camera, and I didn't notice before but you can lock the camera onto the stabilizer. Good size, feels quality.

The thumbscrew that attaches the grip to the camera is difficult to get tight enough to be really stable. I connect to a fairly narrow strip on the lens. I need to see if I can't adapt something to give more grip. The rest of the design is great!

I film youtube videos with my Samsung S9. (Clayton Bridges on youtube) and while I was filming I would get scratching noises because my hands among other things we're in contact with my phone. I have a holder for my phone with the tripod thread pitch. I bought this, attached my phone holder and phone, and it solved my issue. I could not get rid of these noises in editing, and I did not want to use a lavalier microphone. the product is quality, although it was very smelly, it seemed to be built fine. I think for what Ill be using for, its great. It even came with a microfiber screen rag, which is a nice touch. The only problem I have with this, is the handle strikes me as a polymer gun handle, and I'm afraid if Its positioned wrong while unattached to the equipment, it will look like I'm packing. I do alot with cars, and Im afraid that if they see the handle in the passenger seat, things will heat up. But the quality is great, and its an awesome tool to have while filming.

This was recommended by Michael Burke at Inside Real Estate Photography. I use it on an AD200 Pro. Using it makes flash pops much easier to direct and the strap allows me to multitask.

Bought this for use with a spotting scope. Definitely helps me steady the view. I've also used it with a 500mm telephoto on my camera.

I've definitely "lost my grip on life" a few times, but never again with my video camera! This camera grip is durable, lite, and has made the quality of recordings vastly improved. A great value!

I bought two for an upcoming trip. I really like using it on a Sony Handycam - I always found holding a small video camera required an awkward wrist position, unless holding the camera directly in front of the face. With his pistol grip you can hold the camera and shoot very comfortably from any position. Also got one for a full frame Canon camera that I'm using a large Tamron 150-600mm telephoto lens on. Combined the weight of the setup is significant. This grip attached to the lens' tripod mount provides great and secure control. Very nice that the attachment at the bottom for the wrist strap can be unscrewed allowing the direct attachment of a monopod without the need to remove the grip - great feature!
