Great idea, terrible quality! AVOID THIS PRODUCT
Like several other reviewers reported, my hose sprung two pin-hole leaks after less than a week of use. I bought two, so one is still ok, but I'm not very confident that this will last. (UPDATE, the 2nd hose literally exploded when the faucet was turned on - 10 days of use). Thanks to Amazon for their excellent return policy, however, I think that, given the large number of identical complaints with this product, they should stop carrying it. Looked at other non-kink hoses and decided to purchase the "NeverKink Lite 50-Ft Hose", also from Amazon for ~$25. This hose does not sound as flexible or lightweight, but has a lifetime warranty, good reviews, and is US made. It's really too bad that the quality of these "pocket" hoses all seem to be terrible. I really liked using it. My advice is to avoid this product - or, be sure to buy it from someplace that has a no hassle return policy.

Low PSI might be the secret to success with this hose
I wanted to put in a good word for this product. I purchased this hose for my front yard about six months ago, and I absolutely love it! It does everything it promises to do. No unweildy coils, no kinks and tangles; it is stores in a pretty flower pot next to the hose bib, and the brass connectors and nozzle are great -- zero leaking. I just bought a second hose for the back yard. Many reviewers say that the hose burst shortly after they purchased it, and I have no doubt that this is true. My current theory is that high water pressure may be this product's Achilles' heel. We have very low water pressure at our house (50 PSI) and I think that this may account for our personal success with this product. All this to say, if the features of this hose appeal to you (and they are VERY appealing!), check the PSI at your house before purchasing.

Garbage
I bought several of these hoses and every one of them developed pinhole leaks which got worse to the point that we were getting more water on us than on the plants. I tried to repair them to no avail. One they start going their all done. Products like this are made by losers that will not be in business long. I will have to find a better brand with a solid reputation. I never write negative reviews but on this I have to try to warn others.

Do Not Buy - Thought it was great the first time but....
DO NOT BUY!This hose leaks as soon as you look at it. Not one but multiple leaks. Maybe, because of said leaks, the hose does not collapse or contract or whatever it is supposed to do. I actually, and stupidly, bought two of these - one from Amazon and one from a retail store (that one was first, but maybe a week earlier). We thought it was great the first time or two we used it. A week or so later, after having received the Amazon one, we noticed the leak - an upatchable leak because of the material outer casing. The Amazon one has at least 2 leaks and has maybe been used 4, maximum 5 times for small projects (hey, I'm in California). We are going to return the other one to the store and am likely to try and return the Amazon. This product should be removed from Amazon's inventory!

The only hose I use! . . . Bad news; see update.
I purchased my third pocket hose this week. The hose is extremely lightweight and take up very little space when the water is drained. I store mine in a small flower pot in my garden. Spend the extra few dollars to get the pocket hose with brass fittings. It's so much more durable than those with plastic fittings. Finally, the price here was great.Update: September 4, 2015 - Well here I am just over a month since I purchased my hose. As you can see, I lowered my rating to 2 stars. White watering this afternoon, I had a blow out in my hose . . . no kinks, didn't get stepped on, no misuse. Just a hole that blew out about ten feet from one end of the hose. I may try patching it so I can use it until I find a replacement. Too bad, I loved this hose when I first got it; as a matter of fact, it's one of three I own. I feel like it should have lasted a little longer than a month.

Excellent durable product. Attractive and well made , includes hanger for storage.
The product is durable and attractive. Im tired of buying cheaper models and having to replace once a year. I have used this hose for one full summer season and it looks like it will last, time will tell. Unlike other flex hoses, this hose fills and shrinks down quickly which is a plus as I never liked having to wait for the hose to drain. The only issue I have had is it seems to have trouble holding a high pressure stream. By leaving the nozzle open and turning the water on I can get a high powered straight stream, but when the hose is stretched out, or water is left on by turning the lever to off, when turned back on its more of a general 5 or 6 ft stream than a pressured stream which is sometimes needed. All in all I like the product and would purchase again.

CONTAINS LEAD!!!!
Seiously?! There is NO mention online about the lead content in the brass connectors! When it arrives at your home, there's a warning: "Contains lead….known to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm. Do not drink water from this hose. Wash hands after use." So, I can't drink water from this hose, but the water is okay to feed my vegetables? I don't think so. How about a little better product description with full disclosure, Pocket hose? The only good thing about this hose is that it stores easily. When in use, the end of the hose flops where the brass connects. You have to hold it up. A real pain. I sent my back, immediately!
