The media could not be loaded. I have a cheap drill press that is frustratingly difficult to height adjust. The height has to be set by lifting the drill head with your hand while tightening a collar on the pillar with the other hand. Invariably the head moves while tightening the collar.I bought this linear actuator to mechanize the process. Happily, it works perfectly. A flip of a switch raises or lowers the drill precisely and holds on in place while the collar is tightened.The actuator moves precisely and quickly with plenty of torque to move the heavy drill head.This is a quality product that will work reliably in your project.

It is not quite as fast as I would have liked, but besides that they are perfect! (About 12 seconds to fully open with no weight). I tried 3 other brands from amazon before this one, and these were by far the best quality! Easy to setup and use!
