Amazing, easy to use
Because I am right handed I have to constantly turn my dog around or upside down to get his fur in the right direction to cut. Luckily he's okay with me (man)handling him! I put a towel down on my kitchen bench for the correct height and went to work. I love how easy peasy this is. My groomers would never quite get his length quite right.

Came with a broken piece
Disappointed it came with a broken piece. I had reached out but no one bothered to get back to me. Wouldn’t order again

Three stars not because it's baby blue or pink only? It is difficult to change directions needed to run down kitty both sides.
UPDATED REVIEW. One thing you can say about Scaredy Cut owners is how serious they take their product. I upping the review from three stars to me that was a neutral review..not negative but well THE CAT did own most of the problem here and continues to do so =^)(^=He's a not only long haired cat he's enormous and THICK furred that does matt. Scaredy Cat took to heart what I printed all is complete below...but first they sent me a letter maybe two...and then they followed that up with their small scissors which were fantastic by the way. For some reason despite not looking any better than the scissors from the hair cutting section at a good drug store they actually do a better job. I wait until this cat with attitude is relaxed and sleeping smack in middle of our bed or husbands seat at night kit's by day. Then you can kinda lull him into thinking you are petting him and admiring him and he's sleepy and you snip snip snip...oops he's awake. He's on to you. Hope to do better the next time. BUT the scissors are really great I recommend them. Maybe some day a bit larger finger holed version for man hands but they fit mine and oh the finger holes have an insert that can be removed to make a bit bigger. Meantime the game is on with kitty. I clip him which always turns out chunky and a bad hair kitty but that's on me and again kitty. Not the product at all. The thing is he really has too much fur and needs thinning to help with severe hair ball problems. And kitty after a year of Scaredy Cut scissor clipping his belly and hind end when he's relaxed and sides and under the chin and chest...it does help. Scaredy Cut itself is not bad but this cat does not cooperate. I wouldn't call our TwoDot a scared cat more like attitude and attitude with the sharpest and biggest paws you ever saw. WE think he sharpens them on the rocky mountains up here when we aren't looking. I've had some serious wounds when I don't heed his warnings in time. Now for the good part...2Dot actually shows up for grooming these days. And for 3/4 of a year I'd say we've made great headway at keeping the matt's down and the hair brushed and thinned both. Scaredy Cut did not stop at sending us the free scissors they also noticed the left hand and direction issue and again took it to heart and sent us the left hand clippers when they came out. WOW..now that's some serious folks who believe in their product. My husband being a lefty has managed to use the clippers too but our cat...yeah tell him to get with the program. We also have two other long haired cats. One is a hit and miss fellow who's also very touchy but is not as prone to matts and he will work one out himself if it's not too big. He's a maincoon with attitude too. The third cat...omg you could shave him and he'd be fine with it..attention anything that's attention and he's all in. We faux brush him because he throws himself at your feet to get you to see him and brush him 24/7 I kid you not. Why not all cats are like that? He is not the exception in our life though...most of all our cats over 50 years have enjoyed being groomed and even sometimes clipping when needed. Clipping however is a touch and go deal with a lot of cats. What I prefer is to clip them over ripping their fur out with those hair rippers and thinners like furinator etc. products. We have them all I swear...but I caught on a few years ago and started pulling one then another through my own hair and discovered just what it really feels like to kitty. OUCH...many are down right torcher. Painful to me probably 100 fold to more sensitive parts of a cat. Add in a matt or two and who ever develops those tools have not tried them out on their own head of hair. I have thick hair so maybe a thin fine haired person would miss the reality of the tool. All in all I do recommend Scaredy Cut original in blue or pink and the Left hand version and would think they are really great with many dog breeds compared to an electric clipper. I definitely recommend the little trim scissors however. It amazes me how I can get hold of hair better with this than professional hair scissors despite their tiny size they are just amazing. I do rub scissors over lovie spots this cat has...his cheeks and very top of his head he loves to be touched and petted and when he shows up to be groomed and he actually does...the time may be short lasting but he knows we care and he benefits from both our efforts. On another note I fail to learn the skill of using these clippers myself to their fullest performance. I know you could do better but on a stuffed dog or cat...oh sure. Our 2Dot...he does too snicker at our human folley. Hope this makes Scaredy Cut folks Matthew Michel feel much better. It's never really meant to be a negative review...it was really about one kitty..this particular one bigger than life cat who calls the shots. BUT his pet parents keep trying. (as for furanilator...I'd give it one star after pulling it across my own head.) :Life is good!Original Title: Three stars not because it's baby blue or pink only? It is difficult to change directions needed to run down kitty both sides.I knew it would not be a left hand item. Didn't buy it before for that main reason...but kitty has mats and kitty needs his pet parents to step it up and suck it up so to speak. So ordered. What I didn't think through is the difficult direction one needs to stand or sit over the cat to use. One side it works pretty good the way I approach the cat who needs it the most...but then to do the other side I need to move the cat or me 180 degrees to the other end to keep going. I also..not fault of product put the comb on backwards. Yes it fit just fine but of course wouldn't cut....duh.Once that was figured out I was ready to work with it. Does make a clip sound and cat does not like it. Knew that as he is sensitive to other scissors sounds too. Dogs may be easier to handle or some. Our long haired fussy huge cat with claws and attitude...yeah...lets put it this way husband attempted to come at kitty with small electric shears...like this but for kits...and it wouldn't even cut any hair. Kitty didn't get upset though because ten to one he knew it was a bust for us. If it wasn't so serious...kitty mats it would be comical indeed. Cat is snickering...all three I know it. Haven't given up completely but this is not for removing mats and we knew that too...we just hope to keep him thinned down in future once mats are removed to help prevent them. But the problems in how to use this leaves me with a three star review. A completely cooperative pet might make all the difference but lucky those who have one or two.

Scared cut scissor set
I really like this scared cut scissor set! It really helps me cut my little dogs hair like a breeze. I've never taken her to the groomer because I enjoy cutting her hair myself and this helps a lot. And the pieces to the set i got fit snug on the scissors so I haven't had any issues with them falling off. And they are super sharp too! They were well worth the money I paid to get them!

3 1/2 stars
It is a great concept, but it did not work for me with two squirmy Persian cats. You need someone to gently hold your animal, you may have to put a cone on them ( I did) or risk a bite. You do need two hands free to safely grab hair and no loose skin. Best not try on your lap. A safe table or the floor is best. Have your vacuum handy to clean up after. I was only able to get a few cuts. My cats were not cooperative. They were scared of the scaredy cat. Go figure.
