I only wash my hair every 4-5 days, so I use a lot of dry shampoo. I've tried more than a dozen different brands, and Battiste is the best. It's not sticky or gritty. The scent is slightly chemical, but it fades in minutes so you're not smelling it all day. The powder brushes out easily, so it doesn't leave a white residue. It is effective at absorbing oil. My hair is still reasonably shiny, at least for the first couple applications. I do get a little powdery build up on my scalp after about the 3rd or 4th day, but less than most dry shampoos. The little travel size is enough for a little more than a week, so perfect for my average trip. If you're looking for a volumizer, this particular brand isn't the best. But, the brands that give a lot of volume are always a bit sticky feeling, and I hate that. If you don't mind sticky and want big hair I'd suggest trying a different brand, maybe Suave (if I'm remembering my rejects correctly). Just as an FYI to dry shampoo novices, there is a learning curve with applying these sprays properly. If you're getting a lot of white powder where you spray, you're holding it too close to your head. If the oil isn't absorbing, you're either not waiting long enough before brushing or not using enough. If you're getting a lot of residue, even after brushing, you're probably using too much. Sectioning your hair and spraying just near the scalp is very important. If you just spray the top layer of hair, it will not work. Also a boar bristle brush gets the powder out much better than a nylon brush and after dry shampooing you may want to use a shine spray or serum on the ends to counteract the slight dullness/dryness caused by the dry shampoo.

Love the convenience of the little cans for travel. Smells good and works well.

This is the best dry shampoo that I've found, and I love these smaller sizes for traveling. Batiste dries my hair and doesn't leave a sticky or dull residue. I sometimes spray it in before bed and I wake up to perfectly fresh hair!

Sometimes when I'm traveling, my hair needs a shampoo but I don't have ready access to a clean shower or tub. That's when Batiste comes to the rescue. I spray a little of the powder into my hair, rub my fingers through, brush my hair and voila! My hair doesn't look oily or greasy any more! It's nearly as good as a real shampoo. This product makes life on the road in out-of-the-way places so much easier. Comes in travel-size or full-size spray containers. Highly recommended!
