Re Plus Fashionable Travel/Styling Hair Tools Kit - White

When I imagine paying $300+ for hair products I expect salon quality. This travel set delivers to a degree. I love the bag, it's lightweight and store's everything nicely in the mesh pouches, and small enough to fit in any travel bag. The bonus glove is nice to keep your burns to a minimum.The straightener is my absolute favorite of the three products. It's better quality than any other straightener I've very had. Although, it only has one heat setting, it gets hot quick. It doesn't rip out my hair every time I run it down my hair. Most others I've had does that. I HATE losing tons of hair, just trying to get straight hair. Very nice straightener in my opinion.Moving on the the curling iron. It's a standard iron that also only has one heat setting, but again, it gets hot quick. I love the extra long tip at the top of the iron, so you don't burn your fingers. Leaves nice looking curls.Now to the mini hair blow dryer, I'm not impressed at all. It's a basic hotel blow dryer. Doesn't put off much air and gets way too hot too quick. I ran it for 30 seconds and could barely touch it it was so hot. I have thick hair and it would take me way too long to get my hair dry with this. You might as well just leave it at home, use the hotel one, and save the space. I was expecting to get a regular blow dryer for the price point. I know travel size is usually smaller, but I think with the size of the mesh pockets they could've got a bigger blow dryer in there. All other products in the kit are standard size and work and fit nicely.For the price, I was expecting a spectacular product and was satisfied with most. I gave 4 star because the bag, straightener, and curling iron were up to salon quality in my opinion. As a family of six we travel frequently. Our Suburban can only hold so much so the extras usually get left behind. My daughter and my hair accessories usually count as extras (of course this usually leaves me looking quite the mess on vacations/family visits).I had been looking at traveling kits for accessories and was so excited to try this set.It seemed like it took forever to come in (actually less than two weeks) and I quickly opened the cardboard box where I found a shiny white box. Inside the box was the bag which held a folding blow dryer, glove, flat iron, and curling iron.I used the blow dryer first. It has two settings, slow speed and high speed. It did get the job done but seemed to get really hot (I have a lot of hair) which I've found is common with smaller dryers, so I did let it sit out on the counter to cool before putting it away. I did not use the tip on the dryer because I was in a hurry and just dried it to test the dryer.Next I used the flat iron. The flat iron only has one setting. It does get pretty hot but it struggled to straighten my hair completely with one pass. (Side not: My hair is naturally curly/frizzy/messy) It didn't work any better or worse than my CHI flat iron. It got the job done.Finally I used the curling iron. The curling iron only has one setting. It did heat quickly and easily curled my section hair.I don't always use a flat iron, blow dryer, and curling iron daily but wanted to try them out for reviewing purposes. I have difficult hair and limited ability on styling so take my review for what you will. Overall, all the tools work well--I'm not crazy about not having multiple heat setting but for my type of hair they worked the same as my supposed professional tools.I did gift this kit to my daughter(13 yo) that has very long, fine, curly hair. It works much better for her than it did me.I loooove the bag! All the hair accessories have their own compartments with room for my brushes, hair ties, etc.I did receive this item at a promotional rate in exchange for an honest review.

Great little bag of your most important hair tools. The bag is nothing fancy and looks a bit cheap but I really like how it organizes everything inside. It's perfect if you travel a lot.
