Thermobind ThermoBind TB500 Medium Duty, Universal Thermal Binding Machine

Bought for school library to repair books. It works well - melted existing glue first, then we mended the books with new glue. The book repairs are solid and look like they will hold up. It seems very very comparable to another name brand book repair machine that costs 4x more and living on a budget, we are thrilled to have this option that works just as well. I also appreciate the small business aspect- as soon as I ordered they called me to discuss order & uses. They wanted to make sure that I was getting the right machine & glue for my needs, which I appreciate. If I have any issues I know I can call & talk to someone about them. First rate experience the whole way around.

Definitely works! I've been able to save so many books!

As a school librarian, I am repairing books often but with this guy, they feel like they can last so much longer! Easy to follow instructions and simple. My only note is that you will need to order glue separately- this only comes with samples.

2 other teachers and I pitched in to purchase this machine to bind our notebooks for the kids for next year. So far, I have used this to bind 300 notebooks and it has been a champ. I am getting ready to start binding our lab books for next year as well. We look forward to using this little machine for years to come. If anything changes, I will be sure to update here.

At our company, we do a lot of binding for proposals. The Thermobind does a great job.
